  1. If I would win the one, the best thing about it would be that it was free!
  2. here's an example of 720p: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KctGpv4lXw I do thinkt it's crazy that it's possible for €25, might not be the best but it's so cheap... Someone who tried it: "In this video I use the keyboard and mouse directly connected to my PC, because by that time I couldn't figure out how to get sound and controls on the Pi to work. But later I tried again and via Ethernet there were no problems controlling the game from my Pi, even the mouse worked fine. Playing over wifi on the other hand is impossible for me, the connection is far too slow and nothing works. I tried it with a cheap little USB wifi dongle."
  3. If I could make one adjustment, it would be a extra place for a 2.5" maybe 3.5" HDD. I just can't go back to purely HDD and purely SSD is still to expensive... Maybe a miniPCIe SSD would be the way to go in this.
  4. Engadget got there hands on a prototype steam machine: http://www.engadget.com/2013/11/04/valve-steam-machine-hands-on/ The picture i'm most interested in: ;p I really think this could be big for PC gaming. But still I don't see me buying one... what do you think ? Config of this machine: GPU: GTX780 mobo: Asrock Z87E-ITX CPU: Intel I7 Storage: 2.5" HDD Reactions: +Bring console gamers to PC +Nice and small -Very rough design -With this config, expensive. -Only room for one SSD/HDD (maybe mini PCIe SSD?)
  5. I totally agree with the fact that TTL didn't stop bitching, I couldn't watch it through (His rushkid video was beter though). But if I had to buy a $600 card now I would still pick a 780, cause looks are a factor for me. And since the rumor is that there won't be aftermarket coolers until december maybe even 2014... that's a pretty long time to wait considering we've been waiting for a while now... I do hope if we all shout loud enough that amd will allow after market coolers faster. And I'm really, really, reeeaaally curious for watercooling OC performance. Should be pretty amazing.
  6. Have you ever seen Jen-Hsun in an interview? He wouldn't panic if there was a 50 ton amd graphics card about to fall on his head ;p AMD holds the fps/$ crown on alot of price points at this moment and that's great because that means nvidea has to react. They have to make a couple of price drops NOW or they will lose customers. And they better make sure that the 780ti is at least on par with R9-290X. If not I will be kinda disappointed in the green team.
  7. According to TTL, you could wait until december, maybe even 2014 for an aftermarket cooler... I guess the "waiting for 9000 series" pun will become "waiting for aftermarket cooler"
  8. Just upgraded! Before: After: Belgium before Belgacom "50/4" after 120/4
  9. Me too, I've got 4 / 0.5 right now buuuuut... Should have 120/4 on friday ;D
  10. 770 -> 780 400£ -> 650£ (+62.5%) Performance: (+10% - 20%) I know it's the best card and it looks awesome, but I just couldn't buy it and then get a cheap cpu... It's 250£ extra you could buy a 1440p monitor for that ;p 770 vs 780: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/854?vs=827 Cheap 1440p monitor: https://teksyndicate.com/reviews/2012/12/30/qnix-qx2700-27-2560-x-1440-ips-led-monitor-review
  11. I don't think there will be a windowed version of this exact case, silent optimized and window just don't go well together. indeed! And micro scratches from trying to clean them off... That shiny front really could be a deal breaker for me.
  12. The silencio 352 mATX: http://www.hardwareheaven.com/news.php?newsid=5867 A new option for my september mATX build! My opinion: +Silent optimized +nice and simple card reader +low price -shiny front -no window
