Amazon is having the option to group your purchases into a single package to be delivered at specified day of the week: https://arstechnica.com/cars/2019/02/amazons-latest-program-to-curb-emissions-one-delivery-day-per-house-per-week/

 

I think that's a pretty neat option. and it'd certainly help with all of the damn packaging I get sometimes. :T

    That's a nice option to have. It wouldn't help much in my case (As there are hundreds of orders per month in my apartment), but I can see its use elsewhere.

    and proceed to take packages that aren't theirs...I see this as also being a boon for package pirates especially if they figure out what day of the week everyone's goodies arrive.

    That's gonna get crazy in the warehouses - I guarantee it ? Moar lost items from what I've seen in the past (package sorting and handling during last mile)...

    That's a great thing to have if it works. Every time I tried to do that in Hungarian online stores they always shipped everything individually. ?
