  1. i agree but Linus is not going to spend crazy amounts of money on mahogany desks and furniture. Ikea works for what he needs at a good price.
  2. 123design seems to be a good piece of software, for making a model. A lot of 3d printers come with their own slicer so you can use almost any 3d modeling software (free or paid) to make a model then throw it into the slicer and print. I bought a $300 printer as my first one and have just been playing around with it but for $1500 you can get a really good machine I've heard ultimaker is a good printer and has nice slicer software.
  3. I think it really depends on the product. Early adoption does have its pros and cons and personally its weighing them and also seeing how hyped you are for said product. I have backed a handful of Kickstarters as well been a relative early adopter of certain technologies and I can say I haven't been burned that often. I think its doing your research and looking into if the product is something you would enjoy or find useful, and be ready for bugs and small problems because you are for the most part beta testing the product.
  4. looking for a crew too Uplay : MrDirkADirk
  5. I have been waiting for a (next gen) racing game. i played the beta and bought the game and have been really enjoying this game. it is a mix between arcade and a simulator racer, some people don't like the feel but i like it because you can roar around on easy and feel like a pro or move it up to hardcore, where it feels like a simulator and opponents are hard to beat. the wheel integration is excellent almost the same as dirt 3, with my g27 working right off the bat and my buddies Logitech®Driving Force GT being plug and play as well. there is also good customization options for steering and peddle feel in the options as well. graphics run well on my GTX970 Classified running on high, i experience some stutters from time to time but might be a easy fix playing around with the settings or a driver update. multiplayer is good for what it is, i haven't played around with it allot but competitive races and rolling with a crew beating missions from what i have experienced has been fun so far. the menu for multiplayer is not the best and there can be small amounts of lag during races, but if you have some friends to play with i could see it being a blast. The crew is int the best driving game out there but it is really fun to play with many different styles of driving missions and challenges, a expansive world and the multiplayer experience being ok for a racing MMO. its not perfect but i have found it to be allot of fun. still looking for a crew, Pm if you want to join up.
  6. having a good group of pilots who focus on different tasks and someone can join and have a group of people to play star citizen with. and being a awesome conglomerate that controls some of the verse

  8. I guess it really depends what you are looking for, real time RTS or a more turn based strategy games and also the style you are looking for. Here are some of my suggestions. (RTS) Company of heroes 1&2 - a great WW2 real time RTS that has good multiplayer and single player campaign, great if you have a group of friends to play with. (TBS) Total War Series - any of the series are good and is a great strategy game with full multiplayer of you and a friend against bots, i played Shogun 2 and enjoyed it although it takes a while to play (like Civ). (RTS) War Game Series - a complex rts for more advanced players with great AI and a good multiplayer base (RTS) Anno series (2070) - more of a building rts with some fighting, has a great single player and is fun with a group of friends (RTS) Age of Empire Series - everyone knows age of empires (TBS) X-Com - a great TBS fun on your own or play through the campaign with a friend (RTS) Planetary annihilation - only played the beta but a fun new RTS with good multiplayer (TBS) Breach and clear (mobile) - a great mobile TBS, super fun to play on the bus or whatever, no multiplayer
  9. Nice case mind if I take a look under the hood?
