Honestly, I'm not mad:
PUBG's loot boxes are MUCH better than Battlefront 2's loot boxes, as cosmetic only microtransactions do not affect gameplay and this loot box system is better than paid DLC IMO, because it doesn't split the player base.

I saw the news article and more or less dai "way to go!"
They are transparent about the drop rates, there's no in-game impact and it's totally possible to get this stuff in-game.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again
Cosmetic Loot-boxes are okay.

I sold all loot boxes from PUBG on Steam Market to buy keys to open loot boxes in Rocket League.

@bob51zhang Not really, its usually more motion and sound based. In addition, a lot of the clothes are scattered around the map, so even if you dont have a leather coat, you can often find one on the ground in game. You just dont start with it. The color is less of an issue. If anything, higher sought skins offer a dissadvantage because theyre often brighter colors, for example:
- Princess Power Tank-top: 0.06%

I like r6s system with alpha packs
Its only cosmetics and you can win them by playing.

But PUBG's intent isn't to provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking different heroes. As for cost, EA selected initial values based upon data from the Open Beta and other adjustments made to milestone rewards before launch. Among other things, they're looking at average per-player credit earn rates on a daily basis, and will be making constant adjustments to ensure that players have challenges that are compelling, rewarding, and of course attainable via gameplay.
They appreciate the candid feedback, and the passion the community has put forth around the current topics here on Reddit, our forums and across numerous social media outlets.
EA will continue to make changes and monitor community feedback and update everyone as soon and as often as they can.

@Chaos_Sorcerer I actually don't care either way about that game but dude, you sound like either a shill or a top tier fanboi

Loot boxes, just like everything else, is a tool, one that can be abused, but also used in a positive way.
To be frank, I don't like lootboxes just because they can prey on those that have gambling tendencies.
Another question is whether the lootbox ends up messing with the game's RNG. Making the game's RNG less favorable would make lootboxes more tantalizing after all.
To be frank, I don't give a damn if it's cosmetic or not. If cosmetics don't affect your enjoyment of the game, then that's great.
But if cosmetics didn't affect one's enjoyment, then there wouldn't be so many people that end up spending the time to unlock extra costumes for their character.
Hell, they wouldn't be put into lootboxes in the first place, if people didn't enjoy them.
Making the loot from lootboxes only cosmetic makes it so someone can't buy an advantage, which is good.
It doesn't address the issues that I have stated though.
Lootboxes have to be handled very carefully. Will PUBG do that?
I have no idea, but so far they seem to be handling things OK.

I think this is bullshit as some cosmetics do change the game. When the game was new(ish) I used to use dark clothes and run with no backpack, in 3rd person I'd lay down in the circle with a shotgun and people would run right past me. Then I got easy kills.
Meanwhile using the yellow tracksuit stood out so much could barely hide in smaller circles.

@Damascus It's the EA copypasta.
