I had a similar experience as a previous post about the power button on the tower and the monitor, but i will take that a step further, how about not connecting the monitor to the computer and wondering why it wont work.
I also read a comment on you tube about a person who claimed they used their Dell 300 watt power supply for their i7 gaming rig running dual GTX680's because you dont need anything bigger than that... :o

On a fine winters day in Ohio where i was living a few years back, i had just gotten home from picking up 2 monitors, a MB, and video card from a friends house and being the lazy person i am, i decide to try and carry everything in the house at one time. Which doesnt sound very difficult until you have to do it walking through 18" of snow. I proceeded to lose my balance and lost one 24" monitor to the frozen/ice covered concrete walk way leading to the back door. I do believe i had a few other choice words besides " OH CHIT" to say that day.

Yes, that is what this forum is for. We could speculate all we want about why it was locked, it could simply be a minor mistake from the mod (from what I hear they are a bit short handed atm, so they might not have the time to fully analyse each thread, reported or not).

Not trying to sound short tempered or churlish, but the only way you could find out is sending a direct email to the mod who locked it and ask him.

I'm not trying to discourage you, after all this forum is about being able to ask the daft questions (not saying yours is) and not be embarrassed by it. Whether you get an answer or not is another point altogether!

I can only speak for the A10-6800k, but i have found that the CPU and GPU are inversly proportional to each other, you crank up the CPU, but have to underclock the GPU and vise versa, you cant crank up both and keep it stable. I have opted for 4.5Ghz CPU and 1Ghz Gpu. If you drop the GPU down to around 900, you can bump the CPU up to 4.7.

I think Biostar and Asrock boards are pretty good, and ROG boards are WAY overhyped.

I'm a big believer in Karma so I never charge anybody, but i also dont advertise, its just word of mouth through family and friends. I have given away more rigs than i can remember to less fortunate people who otherwise wouldnt be able to afford any computer. In my case, I have been blessed with a good career and dont need the money so i do it because of the enjoyment i get from it. I also repair/refurbish rigs and donate them to a couple local groups like Wounded Warriors veterans group and the Boys and Girls club.

so this one time I was hanging out with my friend who is the manager at a tech shop by where I live and a girl comes in and buys a 2tb hard drive. we let her know that we install hard drives for $1 (the cost of the sata cable we use) and she says "just because I am a woman does not mean I cant work on computers" and leaves in a huff. two days later she comes back in saying that the HDD is not working so we take the computer in to look at it, we open it and the HDD is nowhere to be seen, so we ask her where it is. and it turns out that she scanned it and put the scanned image on her desktop to install the drive. and to top that off she threw away the drive she paid almost $200 for and she wanted us to give her a new one.
