    Neat but why do there have to be so many damn standards. You end up with so many similar looking plugs and ports that aren't compatible with one another.

    Ah but that's the wonderful nature of it (at least for now until someone mucks it up). You can use existing QSFP optics with QSFP-DD interfaces
