  1. Seems like a PSU issue. 450 is like bottleneck. 500w is recommended by Nvidia for a Founder's Edition card. So, get something big like a 550 or more. I'd get 650 just to be safe for room for overclocking.
  2. sweet. Now apply liquid metal to cool it down
  3. Check with XDA Forums. You won't find much here.
  4. For normal home usage or even for some pro usage, it is more than enough. Your mileage may vary.
  5. You probably can do that. or Stop the Windows Update service and then delete the Software Distribution folder then restart then try to do the Windows Update.

Windows 10 on my work pc manages to use 13GB of…

Mine would normally consume about 1.1GB. I have 3 things on startup. If not, it'll be around 900 MB. I've seen as low as 700 MB. I've heard about this memory leaks. But only on forums and such. I've installed Windows 10 on many of my client PCs (only fresh installs), my relation's and friend's. Never heard of this problem from them before. I think this happens on Windows 7 to 10 upgraded systems? I'm not sure. A clean install would solve the problem. I know it's a pain in the ass. But better "one time" pain in the ass than many pain in the ass.
  7. I found some 24 pin to 18 pin converters on Amazon. But not sure how reliable they're. I think it'll work. Research on this https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Business-PCs-Workstations-and-Point-of-Sale-Systems/HP-z420-motherboard-18-pin-layout/td-p/5835021 Also, Does your current PSU have molex connectors? Because, there are converters for Molex to PCIe power like this https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-2-Pack-8-Pin-Molex/dp/B01DV1Z428/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1520059990&sr=8-3&keywords=molex+to+pcie Check it out first.
  8. Look at this https://www.olx.in/item/evga-geforce-gtx-1080-ti-sc-black-edition-gaming-ID1iol77.html#c18fceb04e Ad from different user ID but had same number as the guy I talked with. He is probably scamming. Don't fall for it.
  9. Wait. Just noticed that you used INR. I've seen this ad on OLX. I think I have had similar conversation with similar seller. He said the same thing to me. But after hours of conversation, he said the GPU is from Germany or Italy or something. Then I started avoiding him. Then he asks me to create an OLX account using my number and asked me to post some of his ad. Said, he'd give me money if he got any lead from that. Notice the number he uses. It's not from India. The number I talked with a guy used similar number like this. It's probably the same guy that I talked with. He also had like a Sony A 6500 for 30k INR and 6D Mark 2 for 45k. 80D for 30k. Bullshit for sure.
  10. Ti is better. But with you and him are in different parts of country, I don't think you can go to his spot by spending tons of money on flight to get a $184 card. I'd avoid it.
  11. The GPU needs all the required power cables plugged in order to work.
  12. What malware? You're talking about this ? https://www.theverge.com/2017/9/18/16325202/ccleaner-hack-malware-security If there was any, I'm pretty sure it's gone now. Download it from Filehippo.com or Ccleaner.com Millions of people use it. It's good.
  13. not talking about latest or old driver. I said, it could be a driver problem. So, do a clean install. Meaning that uninstall the driver with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and download a fresh driver from Nvidia site then install and then check.
  14. possible video driver problem. idk. maybe. Try uninstalling the drivers with DDU uninstaller and download a fresh new driver and install it. Then, check it.
  15. Use Ccleaner's. I use it like once a month. Haven't faced any problem with that. I suggest my clients to use that too. No complaints from them so far. But, your mileage may vary.

  17. This looks good. I'd swap MX500 for a 850 evo and my personal opinion, a WD drive instead of Seagate (don't quote me on this). I'd invest a bit extra for a 6GB card.
