  1. Where do the VR people hang-out around here?

  2. Been away from Forums for a while....why is that?

  3. Could be the : Game server Your ISP CS:GO client settings. If you have not changed game settings your self then exclude that. Try reverting back to default settings in console: rate, cl_update, cl_cmdrate, cl_interp etc. Try changing game server. See if have better ping/latency from a closer community server. Goto fast.com and speedtest.net look for a test server at a similar loctation to the game server you want to play on. Compare that to a major city in your own country, a similar distance away. You will get an idea of the best and worst your ISP's performance. Obviously time of day and type of connection/set-up you have has a massive impact. Good luck
  4. WHole lot of links amd mirrors. Seems legit. http://www.crysisdemo.com/download.htm
  5. Just an example of the cable you might need. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Plugable-DisplayPort-Thunderbolt-Supports-Resolutions/dp/B01EXKDRAC Read all the small print as it only supports certain resolutions and frequencies. The technology is evolving, so depending on what devices you have and what firmware your running you might have varied success. I
  6. You might be better off just using the controller built into the case. I doubt there is a hub or adaptor that converts a 6 pin LED fan to 4 pin. So you can plug them into your motherboard. You could mod each cable yourself, which sounds like a lot of work. Not impossible though. Google did turn up. https://www.amazon.com/Asiahorse-Wireless-remote-control-24key/dp/B076D9HHYK This option would need further investigation. Sadly it would not sync with gpu or motherboard, if that was your goal. I'm sure your system would still look great even with independent RGB loops.
  7. I had a werid ergonomic issue with the current design of this mouse. Now and again if l'm holding down mouse button 1 or 2, the back of the mouse will lift-up ever so slightly, causing the current 12k sensor to loose traction. Rather annoying in CSGO, especially when climbing to the top of a ladder then attempting to aim. Then cross hair slides left or right instead of diagonal. I do have large hands and the mouse full weighted. Yet my mouse holding technique causes this problem. Unlike previous Logitech mice (dark senors or where it was called) going from a matt to glossy surfaces will cause issues too. So it is best to calibrate the mouse for that surface in the gaming software. Sadly the store (Maplin UK) I bought it from went into administration before I had a chance to return it. So I'm stuck with it. Oh well guess I will just have to call back on my trusty G400s. Now that is a great mouse.
  8. Did you create an account just to post that? Or is it an alias? Kind of reeks troll.
  9. Now Ridley has spoken. Can we please get back to slagging Apple off (just because) and stamping our feet at Nvidia, over this laboriously slow trick of RTX information.
  10. I'm wondering how easy it is for the game developers to incorporate some of these new features. As you probably know, sadly a lot of games are developed for the console market, with a PC version commonly released at a later date (in some cases years later aka GTA V). Considering Higher frame rates are just starting to be a recognized thing, never mind AI AA, Giga rays etc. Sadly all using AMD graphics. Just don't see consoles getting fancy graphics soon. We will just have to wait and see. I will probably invents in maybe a potential 3rd gen Vive in a couple of years, before I upgrade from a GTX 1080Ti. However I may need a new GC to run that theoretical piece of hardware. Best get saving now.
  11. Back in the day the year 2000 I bought my first PC. A pre build Intel pentium 3 it came with a IBM deskstar HDD (cant remember the capacity). I do remember it chugging along once it was 3/4 full. Since then I always have far more storage than I needed. Have you watched Linus's Data Recovery video there is some valuable info in it
  12. First off I wouldn't rush your decision, tempting as it is... I agree with LMG, Gamers Nexus and Jay2cents wait for the reviews/benchmarks. With any luck once the new RTX cards have been launched and are actually available. The price for the GTX1080Ti will start to fall. However like all last gen tech there will be a point when the 1080Ti price will start creeping back up. Depending on how true the back log of last gen Nvidia cards rumor is true. Personally all this Ray Tracing stuff is interesting and quite exciting. However like VR you have to invest heavily with your wallet to be in that club. With any luck we will see some amazing looking games in the future...
  13. Can't believe all the cuffuffle over this week's WAN show. Seriously ever since Luke went to Floatplane. The WAN show has taken on a new style/dynamic. Often enough when Linus is a host he will be joined by James. Even Dennis had a go and now Ridley. Go back and watch the banter Linus and James had on there first outing. Linus treated him the same, with general on screen banter and putdowns. I remember Linus looking peeved or even annoyed that James was wearing those rediculas Laser Glasses, hence a legend was born. Fast forward a few WAN shows you can see James is much more comfortable hosting with Linus. Giving as good as he gets. In my opinion The Goat comment shocked Riley far more, than the Anthony statement. Can't wait to see who hosts the next show after their workation. Hope the negative comments are NOT the final straw. Linus could easily decide the WAN show has run its course. He could just hand the hosting reins to someone else.... Peace out.
  14. Lian-Li PC-011 Dynamic Case landing tomorrow and maybe one or two items of bling.
