Cyborgsmith replied to Master Disaster's topic in Troubleshooting
Are we at this point now, where we can use "linus" as a verb... -

ARK devs bribing users to vote for them in the Steam Awards
Cyborgsmith replied to goodtofufriday's topic in Tech News
Since stuff like Elite Dangerous (which is still not finished).. its a way for a "small" studio to fund the game dev process. -
Same Although the gpu launch is a small part of "big news" they have been hinting at, which means big things for autonomous cars and deep learning aficionados.

Asus: AMD entry level Zen motherboard pictured
Cyborgsmith replied to NumLock21's topic in Tech News
Isnt budget oriented the whole thing with going AMD? I'd personally rather pay less b/c there isnt a "bling" or "gaming" tax on the product. -

Proly b/c they still make legacy technology, serial communication is still a must have for many industry items. -

Heliums a fenite resource though, our supply wont last forever. This whole, No jobs, just robots doing shit for us idea doesn't sit well with me. All things like this do is continue to divide the working class and the rich.

The CES preshow Keynote speaker is Nvidia, they have been hinting things pretty hard lately. I would not be surprised to see some sort of announcement about the new "Volta" architecture and GTX2000 series refresh.

Sorry but how is it overpriced? There isnt a comparable product on the market. When you in essence have a monopoly of the market you can dictate the price.

In regards to the video you linked, that guy... He doesn't understand the core concepts, the cost of R&D for example. Not to mention inflation.

i7 6700k or i5 6600k for avid gamer rig upgrade
Cyborgsmith replied to JimmyDuxFan's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Enough about zen already, lets give a shit when we see actual scews, motherboards etc. The thing nobody seems to be mentioning is the new X299 boards, the nda for which finally ends on Jan.1 (I think) Back on topic... My vote is 6700k. -
Dells for this one. The product is solid, good panels. And generally have monitors geared towards industry rather then general consumers. I use 2x Dell 2209wa 1x PB278Q The dells have a solid "industrial" feel to them, where as the Asus monitor feels cheap. Plus Dell holds the #1 Market Share monitors. https://www.statista.com/statistics/260474/global-pc-monitor-shipments-by-vendor/
