Found out how to tame the RGB party mode. Taming the jungle hiding behind the side panel tomorrow with some Cablemod cables

Finished! The tubing is sloppy and needs to be redone but it's running.

The CPU arrived. Time to start the build.

CPU and monoblock installed. That probably should've taken 20 minutes instead of two hours but I really didn't want to screw up that part.

Another is being sent out and is supposed to arrive in 3 days. I think there must be a thief in the Amazon shipping department. That seems more likely than somebody buying and returning it with the CPU removed and the empty packaging getting resold. Somebody must inspect returns on items of this price. I highly doubt a CPU ever comes from the AMD factory like this which Amazon seemed to suggest when they asked if I wanted to sort it out with AMD directly.

Thankfully the replacement is getting delivered soon. I'd be very upset if I had to deal with starting a claim and waiting for days or weeks of investigating before I could get a refund or replacement.

I second that. I am a Creative Cloud subscriber and for $49.99/mos you get the entire Adobe suite which includes Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, and more. If you're a student you can get the entire suite for $19.99 a month. Really a good deal considering the full suites used to be in the thousands and you'd have to upgrade each year to stay current. Premiere is way overkill for what you're trying to do though. I've never used WMM but I assume the above two posts are correct in that it will do what you need.

I think the DataVac electric duster would be a great and simple item to review since dust is a small but important issue with electronics. A friend told me about it and I picked one up and it's the best. I haven't spent money on a can of compressed air since. I use it on my computers, keyboards, music production, and HiFi gear.

I've swallowed that unfortunate but likely truth and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Adobe handles this situation that Apple probably served to them with a grin on their faces.

Frankly, Adobe should either adopt an Open Source replacement for QuickTime that already exists, or they should in-house develop a replacement.

And they don't even need a full replacement, just the encoding/decoding functionality of QuickTime. No need for a video player software at all, just a transcoder.
