hi guys dunno if i post at the right place, mod please move this post to related place if required. currently i was requested to purchase a system for my company for video editing purposes, using adobe premiere elements, but we can only purchase system from vendor such as dell, lenovo due to company policy. i have checked with dell, their better workstation were all installed with xeon and quadro, i was quoted with about USD$2300 for a workstation installed with 4770k and quadro 2000k(they do not have better gtx gpu such as gtx680 etc) it seems like gtx680 will out perform 2000k with the same price point? i have checked on lenovo website as well, all their better workstation were only installed with xeon and quadro as well. i felt that it is not worth to spend $$$ on quadro but all vendors dont seems to have gtx, is there a reason quadro is prefered ? or what would you guys reccomend ? (mainly used for video editing with adobe premiere elements) thank you.
