  1. Yes, yes it is. It's also ridiculous. But people seem to really like it.... and tbh, i think it would just be fun to see taran ride it.
  2. Taran, if you get a chance, check out this crazy thing: https://lopifit.com
  3. Not sure if this is the same for everyone or a new thing, but i just had te request a new sim for myself. After i went trough the process i got a conformation email about the order and the following warning: Please keep your old sim card in the phone when you activate the new sim online, an activation code will be send to the old sim to activate the new one. (i loosely translated this myself, so do not expect to find exactly this wording.) Is this new since this happened or do they not do this in other countries? This was t-mobile.
  4. No sobstory here. Have a mechanical keyboard i like, but who does not love winning?
  5. I am pretty sure they mean that you have a problem if your voltage keeps changing with more then 0.5volts all the time. So if it were to keep changing while running on a constant load. high, low, high, low... so on.
  6. Nope im from the netherlands, and it really was no problem. They helped me and together we got the coilwhine to stop after running a burn-in test for 12 hours straight, and some other stuff they asked me to do. So hopefully they could help you too, so you dont need to rma ^^
  7. Just contact evga directly, i had the same trouble with my 980ti. They helped me until all was resolved, really one of the best customer services i have dealt with in years.
  8. if there is any second hand tech store nearby, go and ask if they have a few left over. Saved me when i had to RMA, they would not accept anything without an anti static bag.
  9. Sadly i do not have a solution, but i do have the exact same trouble since not too long. Full-screen games, make any video playback choppy, be it in my browser or media player classic. Im running: 6700k with h100igtx evga 980ti sc 16 gb corsair platinum. Everything else seems to run great and my hardware can easily handle the load. Did not used to be this way, only started a while back.
  10. Just some thoughts on the steelseries H wireless, or as they are called now, siberia 800. The sounds quality is great, but the build quality sucks so hard these should have never been sold. I have had mine for 5 months, 2 months of that was spent waiting for the new ones to arrive when they broke AGAIN. This is my 4th pair, and the only reason these are not going back is because they are "ok". The foam in the headband is the biggest problem, after a while it wont bounce back and you will have 2 hard plastic edges digging into your skull. The foam is held in place by wedging its covers in tight, but these let go when you bend the headband. There is loads more to go on about, a 100 emails in which steelseries completely ignores my problems. Just do not get one..... not worth the money AT ALL.
  11. Thanks for all the advice, RMA it is... Hope its a bit fast, dont really have a temp replacement
  12. Hello fellow LTT members, I recently build my first rig, and pretty much everything when smooth. But now i ran into a problem with extreme coilwhine. My EVGA 980Ti SC+ is making some godawful noises when gaming. This started after about 2 weeks and seems to have only gotten worse and worse. I contacted EVGA and they told me to check the 12v power and if it was consistent, and it seems to be fine. Then they told me to run a burn-in test for 4 to 8 hours, just to be safe i went for the full 8 hours but still the problem is there and it has not gotten any less. The last advice they gave me would be to try another psu, but i do not have another one. I was planning to replace the one i have at some point, its semi-modular and just barely meets the power requirements, but i do not have the money atm and i am not sure if this will solve the problem. Specs: Mobo: Asus Maximus VIII Hero Cpu: 6700k Cpu cooling: H100I GTX Gpu: EVGA 980Ti SC+ Psu: Corsair CX600M Ram: Corsair dominator platinum 4x4gb ddr4 Storage: Samsung 850 evo 1tb ssd, seagate 2tb hdd Case: Coolermaster MasterCase Pro 5 What do you guys think, would a new psu solve this? Or do i need to RMA it? (btw, how long would an RMA take?, im in the netherlands) Also, for now everything is running at stock factory speed, no overclock on any part done yet. Thanks for the help! Jorith
  13. Be careful with fans and compressed air, dont let them spin when cleaning. I also found that a cleaning fans might go faster if you just use a microfiber cloth. As for the rad, be careful with compressed air, even the canned ones. Just 2 weeks after i got my h100i gtx it got covered in dust and i decided to clean it with a can of compressed air, at some point some of the paint got blown off the fins. This will likely damage the resell value much more then just a bit of dust. Could be mine was just painted poorly, but just a heads up.
  14. Nah its nothing game breaking but annoying. Sometimes you fall trough the floor, or you get stuck in the terrain. Item comparisons sometimes compare the wrong items, for example compare sidearm dps with main-weapon. Menu's don't always have the same layout of even buttons to do the same action. Map updates slow or refuses to remove found items until i restart. Stuff like that.
  15. Great game, good humor. But if you dislike bugs, wait a few updates, too much to list
