it's usually worth it to ask around, quite a lot of knowledge can be learned just be asking around and learning the answer and no, not all of it can be found online, quite a lot of it isn't documented online due to various reasons

(trust me, i had one with our long term storage server and i won, you know how i know i won, the hard drive indicator "blinked", ha ha ha ha ha ha, it's not funny) 2. most server opereating systems don't have wifi support and can't use it without add ons or extra software. anyways, as many server enthusiasts know, servers are PICKY with RAM.... more picky than a kid being fed those healthy brownies by their mother most of the time it's trial and error, use any ram that fits into the server and that you know works, also some servers won't boot without a RAM kit from the manufacturer and that makes it really hard to work with
