the verge is a media outlet that is focus on wideness and lack of depthness. they have really good webside and video art but the content is sub par.

think of this: the verge's parent company is rolling a bunch of fresh highschool graduates into glass offices with toys, that has free meal with avacado, fancy chairs and apple computers; trucking them to places and write pieces. but it stays there, just writing pieces, pieces that probably not worth your cpu time to show the ads let alone read them.

comparing the verge to ign is an offence to the writers and editors works there.

if you are sort of "sightseeing" gamer and not those avid esports gamer, a good colour gamut 60hz one is enough. altho there are increasingly more affordable 144hz monitors that also can match the colour reproduction and other fuctions (input, expansion and rotation/swivel)

i think heating oil IS diesel but i's more refined and has very little sulfur in it but if thats the case, it kinda like firewood. but in my region we use kerosene in some heaters.

xbox one controllers uses these metal dome switches for dpad, they require a lot of actuating pressure. playing retro games with this dpad is killing my thumb.

the face buttons(ABXY) however, uses tradional silicon dome pads which imo is the only way to build controller switch mechanism.

i want a controller that has silicon pad under the dpad, and not too expensive. there is just no discussion around the web about how dpads between various controllers.

to my knowledge all xbox controllers uses metal dome switches, including elite. that's fine as i coulnd justify spending that much money on a controller anyway.

i dont like ps4's dpad, the shape is simply stupid.

i don't mind what layout however, symmetry (ps4) or staggered (xbox, nintendo) are both fine in my book.
