  1. Looking for people that own RTX 2080 laptops that would recommend them. Due to the nature of my job and having to move around, having a desktop is not possible for me at the moment. Ideally gearing towards performance rather than aesthetics. I don't mind carrying around a big boi vs a thin and light. The Alienware Area 51m looks hella nice but at 4049 its a bit much to buy without some input first. Budget is around 3-3.5k USD, but could spend more if your user experience has been amazing. Specs wanted: I'm fine with a i7 but at this price range having a i9 would be sweet 16GB of ram minimum Needs to have a SSD Needs to have at least 1TB of internal storage
  2. From what I remember if can record voices but if you long press the button you can change the options in the ShareFactory.
  3. Kirby All Stars. Pretty good value for my niece and nephew. Got it for them and its received free DLC a few times already.
  4. Hope this helps. https://superuser.com/questions/1035042/is-there-any-way-to-view-chrome-browser-notifications-history
  5. I'd suggest by starting to source / gather parts. I used to have a tricked out mountain bike / bmx in middle school but my dad was the one who modded em for me. Look around on Craigslist/scrap yards to see if you're able to get some parts for little to nothing and go from there. If the bike is crappy, you might be better off selling it and investing into something that you'll like more & going from there.
  6. If you're not pressed for time you can get all sorts of no name ones off of eBay that're mass produced in China. Also the odd Dollar store tends to have like super basic ones if you're trying to stay on the low cost end.
  7. Welcome!
  8. If you're handy and have tools, it's always convenient if you make a custom desk. I have an hvac duct in the corner of my room (the wall caves in inward 1'x1' in a corner) and I made a custom wall desk that wraps entirely around one wall with a tv wall mounted above / storage shelves etc. Prior to this, I went on Craigslist / Kijiji & purchased second hand but in mint condition Ikea Linnmon / Alex / Adils table parts for like 1/2 the retail price. This requires a vehicle to transport stuff, and you'll probably have to drive a bit to get the best deal.
  9. The tubing is something one could ignore/sleeve if you really wanted to, but damn, those quick connects are atrocious.
  10. Ugh I can't even imagine what they're going to name it. I also agree with Buck, though I'm waiting for the day that a single card can handle a 4k 100+hz monitor so I can get off of 1080p once and for all!
  11. Its plug and play. You just need to install the drivers and you're good to go. Also, look at this link: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Cm38TW/evga-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-4gb-sc-gaming-acx-20-video-card-04g-p4-6253-kr 5 alternative retailers selling it cheaper than Amazon, though this all depends on where you're located.
  12. That'll be fine, safe to assume you've got a 1080p panel? You'll be able to run games at medium-high depending on how intensive they are.
