Peripherals setup? I have a 5 year old Razer mouse that can't remember the name, a Standard Genius Keyboard and my Audio Technica ATH-M50's for audio. I just hope my mouse doesn't die anytime soon ;s
-
I'd LOVE the keyboard, since I already have a gaming mouse (4 years old but still working ^^). But my keyboard.. well let's just not get into that ahah

Umm.. what about the camera of this phone..?
-
I tried so hard not to mention this bullshit man ahahah why did you have to point it out?!
-
Umm are you sober or what..? You talk about 1080p and 4k like it's the standard for consoles and pc xD. Let me INFORM you. Build a PC that is affordable, let's say 500 bucks. You still get better looking games and much better framerates than consoles. There are lots of videos of even 300 bucks pc's that outperform the consoles. Also, if you say that 30fps on mobas are unplayable, how come you didn't identify your consoles as unplayable too? Something about your post isn't cutting it for me.

get a 4460, got one and don't regret it.. but i have a r9 380x nitro, i don't actually know if it will bottleneck your gpu.. just get a good intel quad core and if they are out of your budget there are decent ones on ebay that still have a year or two of warranty and they are a good value. -
I like how he says 4k, casual gaming and then says Rise of the tomb raider and GTA V I mean, are you sure gta and rise of the tomb raider are casual games? ahah Also: Yes, it is too much to ask from a r9 380. Even at medium with 30fps, it won't work.. 4k is a huge load for that GPU..

Dude this guy says he wants to play GTA V and ROTR. so you say your r9 285 will cut it?
-
I'm building a new pc (already posted it on the forum) but unfortunately i'm out of my budget so i postponed the SSD :l It's a good addition to every system, faster boot up and maybe some games that have lots of loading screens work way faster on an SSD!!

The monitor doesn't have freesync, it's a good deal but it wouldn't be my top choice. It connects with VGA only? Not the best for the quality you could get from another monitor that has an hdmi or a displayport input.
-
Ok but I am still saying that having freesync is way better than none freesync. Also, you could scale down games for bigger framerates but 1440p monitors with huge refresh rates can be expensive. If you have the budget, go for it. Just research a bit more or someone else could reply, because i do not know about downscaling to 1080p on a 1440p monitor. I don't know if it will look bad or if you will experience any problems, though i don't think so. Edit: I googled it, and it seems you get two black bars on the top and bottom of the screen when you downscale from 1440p to 1080p. If it's not a deal breaker for you, it's ok.

It's going to be a good card for 1440p, but if you want framerates above 75fps, take a 1080p monitor. It will be capable enough to please you. (good for first person shooter games, online multiplayer etc). If you play mostly games like witcher 3, tomb raider and prefer the single player experience, go for the 1440p. Also, for first person shooters, a monitor that has 1ms repsonse time (won't be an IPS display, not the best colors) would be ideal, but for the latter category get an IPS display, way better color reproduction. It all comes down to preference. Also, in my opinion, get a monitor with freesync. It's a no brainer.

First PC build, I've been researching for weeks.

Umm it was a mistake as everyone else thought it was, thanks for pointing it out ahah. -
Components I chose: Intel core i5 4460 (3.2Ghz, 3.4Ghz with Turbo boost) Sapphire Nitro r9 380x (factory overclocked to 1040Mhz) 1TB 7200Rpm HDD from Seagate XFX TS series 750W 80+ Gold Asrock z97 Anniversary Edition 120GB SSD (i'll research a bit and find a reliable one, thanks for the advice ^^) 2x4GB Ram (HyperX Fury) Monitor: AOC G2260VWQ6 (Freesync, 1ms response time, 1080p) The power supply is 750W so in the future i can put a second graphics card in, i think the motherboard will have to be changed too but for now it allows me to stay in budget. I have an old case and some fans, not the best but my budget can't afford a new one.
