  1. Im also worried since theres been alot of 6900/6950xt's failing or getting cracked dies recently.
  2. Iv recently been getting random freezes/black screens then restarts and eventually led to the motherboard showing a red light on VGA and black screen but still boots. Sometimes the PC does manage to boot and display after many restarts but most of the time its just stuck the black screen or boot loops. The things I have already tried is resetting the bios, reseating all cables and hardware/components, trying another PCIE slot for the GPU, uninstalling GPU drivers with DDU tool in safe mode then reinstalling drivers & switching the GPU bios from silent mode to performance mode and back again with the switch it has. CPU: Ryzen 9 5900x GPU: 6950XT Sapphire Pure Motherboard: MSI B550 Tomahawk Ram: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro PSU: Corsair RM1000x
  3. So sometimes no matter what im doing windows for a few seconds will just randomly stutter/glitch then return back to normal. I could be just watching youtube, movies, playing a game or just idle and it will happen. Iv already tried a fresh blank install from a usb stick and that helped a bit but still doing it. Specs: Ryzen 5 5600x RX 5700XT 32gb corsair rgb pro msi m550 tomahawk corsair rm750x 1tb 980 pro & 2tb 870 evo pcie usb card
  4. Thanks for this! I decided to just go wired with the Phillips SHP9600 and an Astro MixAmp Pro TR. Thankfully the wire is 3m long so much better than my current hyperx headset
  5. Im looking for decent wireless headphones upto £200 that are open back and have game and chat volume controls. I find alot of "gaming headsets" are muddy and too tight fitting with cheap builds
  6. Yea seems like the cable change fixed my issue! Crazy how a cable can cause things like this to happen.
  7. Still no solution yet but I discovered something and still need to do a bit more testing first. I ordered a new DP cable from KabelDirekt this time (old one was by ivanky and was cheaper) and also after some digging on a website called displayport.org I saw that one of the issues with a bad quality DP cable is system power up issues. I also cant find the manufacture ivanky on their certified DP cable list but the new one I got by KabelDirekt is on their list so seems a bit meh. I will update in a few days if the issue is still happening and Ill also contact MSI about this issue as iv ran out of diagnoses to do to fix the VGA hanging.
  8. So sometimes every few days when booting my PC up, it gets stuck on the VGA light and dosnt post. Turning it off and back on a few times temporarily fixes it but not sure why this is happening. Motherboard is a MSI B550-A PRO running 7C56vA8 bios. Some things iv already tried is resetting the bios and updating it, clean install of windows 10, reseating the RAM, CPU, GPU & DP Cable on both ends and also trying the 2nd DP slot in my GPU and still getting the same issue. CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x GPU: RX 5700XT Sapphire RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3600 4x8gb Motherboard: MSI B550-A PRO PSU: Corsair RM 750x OS: Windows 10 Pro
  9. So I got the modmic wireless recently for my rift s but im having an issue in vr chat where peoples voices get picked up (from headset speakers) on my modmic. Its currently set to 70 in windows settings with AGC enabled and voices in game turned down to 70%
  10. So sometimes every few weeks when starting my PC up, it gets stuck on the VGA light (B550-A PRO) and dosnt post. Turning it off and back on fixes it but not sure why this is happening. Im running 7C56vA7 for the bios version and already reseated the ram (corsair vengeance rgb pro 3600mhz 4x8gb) and gpu (5700xt).
  11. I would definitely like to see some Monoprice cat 6/6a or cat 7 ethernet cables tested against other brands or non branded from Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Aliexpress!
  12. So I just hooked the AX5400 to the isp router thats in modem mode but my speeds through ethernet have dropped from 950Mbps to 700-750 and iv only got once device connected too. Also tried differnt ethernet cables but made no difference so not sure what else to do.
  13. So ever since I got my new 5600x 2 months ago iv had my entire OS on my PC go all laggy or stutter for a few secs and its happened 5 times so far. It only seems to happen when using youtube and not sure whats causing it, I cant replicate it and it just happens randomly no matter what im doing at the time. Iv already tried reseating the CPU and im running the latest drivers for everything and the latest bios.
