  1. It is just generally very glitchy being only V1.0... i frequently have to close and reopen or wait for it to reload. Any internet connection works but maybe 2g isn't fast enough for the game
  2. So what did happen with the computex videos?
  3. Not something like a GT 730 (unless you iGPU is very bad or you have a very low budget.
  4. You need a board with support for SLI/crossfire a board with enough slots in the right spacing and the number of PCIE lanes on CPU which you know
  5. You can replace the switch entirely with a blue led one (eg. http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l2/g44/c153/list/p1/DIYMod_Parts-Switches.html, make sure its momentary) For the USB ports it would be a bigger job but you could do the same and replace them, or you could cut the wire for the LED and have them not glow at all.
  6. The limiting factors are how much RAM your Cpu can take (which in your case isn't the problem) how many slots your m/b has Memory speed So as long as you don't have too many 'sticks' of RAM, you can within reason have as much as you want (or as much capacity can be crammed onto each stick) Your problem seems to be RAM speeds and types but i don't really know anything to help. It seems like its a more specific issue as obviously the computer is functioning at least for a while - like its compatible but not fully
  7. Thanks for your help, won't go anywhere near them!
  8. Thanks, budget is under $50 US. I have looked at older 6/700 series samsung drives before as they are at a similar price point
  9. I know they are cheap and nasty, but what are some personal experiences people have had with Kingston V300 SSds ? Just trying to gauge whether there is any point spending money on one Thanks
  10. A speaker is also is handy for some projects (basic 50mm 8 ohm) You can get mixed packs of caps, resistors, LEDs etc. which are good for building up an inventory
  11. Looks nice. The only thing - is that PSU overkill?
  12. Linus did a video a few days ago...... they are AMAZING Also Kaby Lake is basically an 'optimisation' or 'revision' of Skylake - no new architecture, no new process node like tick-tock
  13. Is that the cpu usage etc. of the Pi, or a separate system?
