  1. I think the MiniNova isn't meant to be run in mono. But there's nothing stopping you from just connecting the left to the interface Line in and using that. Maybe the Nova has a built in pan on the output? Haven't used one myself. You could also get an adapter to connect the right TRS channel into the XLR plug. But the volumes would be wildly different and you'd need to fix that in your DAW. Not much of a hassle, but still noteworthy. Also might sound a bit different, due to the impedance differences between the line input on your interface and the mic input on the XLR. Typically when synths have a specific Mono out, it's labeled right next to one of the outputs. Like seen on the picture below. ----Overall, I'd recommend getting a interface with two line in inputs. Both of the ways to connect the MiniNova to this interface are sub-optimal.
  2. the screen size and viewing 2 apps at once is very nice.
  3. yeah I personaly think it might be okay since it goes into the fan header thing but I wanted more opinions on it before I really started using it.
  4. I'm currently trying to find the parts that fell off but those things are so tiny that its ridiculous.
  5. I chipped of a capacitor, transistor on my HD 7850 (while inserting it into the pci-e slot) and I need opinions if it would be safe for me to continue using it. I actually did power on the pc with the card inserted into the slot and it did show an image on the monitor but the fan ran at 100% speed so I quickly shut off the pc so I didn't actually get to windows. also the capacitor, transistor that got chipped off goes to the blue wire for the gpu fans. one thing as well is that ether the gpu broke the motherboard as well or the spare gpu that I had was broken already (might be a possibility, have not used it for a long time) since the fan speed on it is stuck at 100% as well and the rpm meter on it doesn't work. could I possibly get a fan controller or something and continue to use the gpu with that? (excuse my english, it isn't particularly good) and here is a decent picture of the problem.
  6. I could go run for hours in one direction.
  7. It was a Medion model something: Pentium 4 2.8GHz, geforce fx 5200 (I still see this gpu in stores for PCI E slots), 512mb of RAM and a whopping 160GB of of hard drive space. The PC was probably good at some time but I got it in 2005 and used it till 2010 because I didn't have money to get a new PC.
  8. We pay around 65$ a month for 100mb up and 100mb down. upload is free but downloading anywhere outside my country has a cap at 50GB (at which point I would have to buy extra 40GB for 9$)
  9. I don't have pictures because my camera is not good enough to be able to see it on but I chipped off (by an accident, hit it on the thing holding the RAM in place) a small resistor/capacitor of my Sapphire 7850 and never found the part again. now it sits in my bookshelf holding my books in place.
