What do you mean by backplan?

Hey all, I'm planning to roll out ethernet throughout the entire house and I've just learned about network switches, patch panels, etc. and I don't want to bottleneck any of the devices. I'm thinking of having the four outputs from my router (RT-AC66U) go into the switch and from there, every device gets connected to the switch. Is this possible or do switches only accept one input?

Do the Harman Kardon soundsticks iii have good bass
Brainiac777 replied to Morethan4's topic in Audio
I have the soundstick III's and they have a lot of bass for me. If their isn't enough, the power knob is rotatable to change the amount of bass outputted, I tend to keep it in the middle. -
I have glasses and I use my Shure SE215 when I go to school. I would recommend getting the black colour because the clears do get green. The wire loop that is part of the wire does sometimes clip to the end of my glasses and I have to readjust but that only happens once and after I fix it, it doesn't happen again.

Thin bezel IPS VESA mount monitor - Suggestions please
Brainiac777 replied to Flying freak's topic in Displays
I have the LG monitor mentioned, two, in fact for a dual monitor setup. It has a VESA mount and the colours are really nice. The blacks are good but not great as they seem a bit blue. I've had the monitors for around 6 months and no dead pixels so far. I don't notice any backlight bleed, but some things to note: - The speakers are horrendous - The stand has a poor design and the monitor sways when slightly hit - The capacitive buttons are terrible. I just hate them because a slight touch will trigger them. Overall, I still love this monitor because you would rarely touch the buttons except for the initial calibration and I use separate speakers anyway. Since you're using a VESA mount, the stand shouldn't be a problem. If you have any questions about the monitor, I'll be happy to help. -
