I think security questions is a stupid, cumbersome and insecure way of authenticating logins. I don’t know why so many websites still use this. ??

i think those are the most insecure things in the world. most of them are common knowledge, or the information is easy to get. most of these questions, if you ask soemone, they'll just give you the answer.

In high school one of my friends had their secret question set to "What high school did you go to" for their email address. Seriously?

They're essentially useless. 2FA is much better. Sites that require you to set up secret questions are evil. I just use them as an opportunity for a second password unrelated to the question(s) asked.

@Spotty or it'll be like "what's your dog's name"... yea go over to their house once and you'll know.

@firelighter487 or just look at their instagram where there's probably 600 photos of their dog.

I promise you it's not as bad as Verified by Visa's stupid 8 character password limit.

    I use Mastercard :P

@captain_to_fire I have both and MasterCard lets banks do their own Secure thing so Banks can put it in their app or whatever which is wayyy better.

Thankfully not many websites use Verified by Visa ?

Why are you guys answering with actual answers? I would answer this with "Einstein's Theory of Relativity" or "Be serious about B. cereus".
