  1. I was through there in the middle of May and it definitely crossed my mind that I partly wished the cruise I took was just before the start or just after the end of LTX...
  2. When you order a product without reading the description...
  3. I view it as a valid option for an item that I actually need, and justify the higher cost as my way of saying thanks for all the free content on YouTube without being a Floatplane subscriber.
  4. Are you suggesting that you need to use two hands to start using it? With one hand, you can simply twist the selector as you start (at the same time) driving in a screw, and adjust your grip gradually throughout the action. Also, if your hand slips up over the selector ring while doing final tightening on a screw, having the selector ring the way the LTT driver engineered it ensures you won't accidentally switch to the unscrew-mode while attempting to tighten.
  5. afaik all cross-head screws used for any Ikea furniture is PZ
  6. I'm no networking expert, but I think what I want to do is possible, and am seeking help with the software/networking configuration to get it all working. Here's a diagram of my physical network: How would I configure unRaid to allow for the Frigate docker container running on the unRaid machine to see the IP cameras? How do can the IP cameras be assigned IP addresses? Do I need to add a docker container for Pi-Hole or a similar application that can act as a DHCP server / software router? If so, what are the options for that? Are there special considerations for ensuring the Frigate container can communicate with the MQTT container, and by extension, the Raspberry Pi which is connected to a different network card than the cameras/PoE switch? Are VLANs important here or no? I would assume a VLAN might be useful if I only had one physical NIC and wanted better separation of traffic. Is that right? Thanks.
  7. They might be trying to strike a balance on their store of not enough information for someone to make an informed decision and information overload, but I agree. I would like to see them lead by example on the front of providing a means to see or get ahold of deep technical detail for their products, even if it means finding a small link at the bottom of the store page which goes to a PDF download or something akin to a datasheet.
  8. I'd have to imagine it's mostly about the bottle not being designed to inhibit growth of bacteria in the liquid if the liquid sits around a long time. Just a legal protection, maybe.
  9. Not gonna lie this seems like an amazing solution. Kudos.
  10. I recently made a purchase at LTT Store and got the same ZIP code error. My autofill details were not updated after I had changed the address with my card's bank. I got the pending charge notification after I got the error but before I corrected it. I corrected the error and re-submitted the order, and never received any additional charge.
  11. The problem seems to be that LTT Store allows reviews to be submitted by people who have purchased the product but have not yet received it.
  12. That's gross, I hope in person the slop doesn't feel as bad as it looks.
  13. The LTT screwdriver itself is only covered under warranty by factory defects as well. But are we complaining about that? True, but for $30 more than the LTT screwdriver you can get a PB Swiss ratcheting bit-holding driver with 10 bits and possible a better ratcheting mechanism. Nor is the LTT screwdriver itself covered from wear via usage of the driver. What's the point?
  14. For what its worth, PB Swiss warranties their bits. https://www.pbswisstools.com/en/about-us/quality However, their ratcheting bit-holding driver is ~$100, compared to LTT's $70, so take that for what it's worth.
  15. Do the bits in your country get stamped with something other than "PH#"?
  16. Considering that Pozidriv is basically what Ikea has standardized on (when not using hex bits) I'd agree that this was an oversight.
  17. I'll chime in and say I am seriously considering the PB Swiss vs. the LTT driver for home use, because I can swing the purchase and have gotten my blood boiling over stupid little design decisions I hate about cheaper ratcheting drivers. I just moved house recently as well, so I have a lot of screwdriver use coming up.
  18. It's my understanding that one of if not the only driver with basically no "backlash" in the center position of the ratchet mechanism is the PB Swiss. Hoping that Project Farm compares to that. I assume Jeff Geerling will once he gets his hands on one given the YouTube short he posted.
  19. Has LTT released any information on the overall dimensions of their screwdriver? In particular I'm interested in the overall length (not including a bit inserted)
  20. I'm debating going for the LTT screwdriver or this (because it's a stubby and I've found my cheapo Stanley bit-holding ratcheting screwdriver is too long or long enough to get annoying in lots of cases. https://www.kctool.com/wera-008884-kraftform-kompakt-ra-2-ratcheting-stubby-screwdriver-with-bit-storage-6-pieces/ or https://www.pbswisstools.com/en/tools/quality-hand-tools/screwdrivers/product/pb-8453r-30
  21. Yes, but those are too long and while they would fit, they would use up two slots per bit.
