  3. Budget (including currency): 100~ Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Basic Computing Other details MacBook Air M1 256G SSD, 8G RAM Hi everyone, I want to ask if it is possible to replace the screen on my MacBook air for ~100$. The LCD no longer works, no applecare. I have the experience to tinker with apple products, but I'm wondering if there is any DRM associated with a new LCD panel (and the glass). I want to ask if I'll encounter any problems replacing the screen. I want to buy a for parts MacBook Air for anything under ~100 and just replace it with that.
  4. Hey all, I recently purchased an ASUS TUF B550M Plus Wifi. I used it for about 6 months after which it failed me. I sent the motherboard to ASUS and it has come back today. I see that on the Repair Report they acknowledge a memory function error: however, the Action Taken is blank, as is the Replacement Parts. I believed this had been an oversight from them. I reassembled my PC, and to my dismay, I get the same errors. The RMA motherboard had been wrapped in plastic, and I received replacement parts for the IO shield and wifi dongle. MOBO is alternating between DRAM, VGA and BOOT lights. Am I missing something? I could use some help. Image of Service Report attached. 5. Hey guys, I have a Youtube channel and have been gaining it off the ground so far. I have noticed some comments I get notified of, however do not make it to the actual video. I go to the moderation tab in the studio and they're not there. I have no way to get to them. Any help on this? Is Youtube censoring my audience? I have no control over this. The comments I get from the bell icon. I click on them, however nothing is noted. Pictures below.
  6. Essentially i was getting Spaceinvader artifacts, a month later, the RGB LED light is on, but no post.
  7. My 1080 ti is bricked. I've submitted RMA to Gigabyte but there no response for two weeks. Any services out there that you guys are aware of so I can just get it repaired. It died slowly, no post, etc.
  8. Much appreciated, thank you for your time
  9. I looked while it was capped. There are no applications driving it to 100%. In fact, on the application screen it says 20%. When on the performance tab, however it is maxed. I also noticed a max of my hard drive before the freeze. When the hard drive stopped maxing out, the ssd maxed.
  10. I am unable to find out. The computer freezes, and goes back to normal after. I just see it on the performance graphs
  11. Hey guys! I am getting spikes of my SSD for 5-7 seconds where it maxes out it's utilization. My PC freezes during this time and I have no reason why. I noticed another time, from one of my other posts, that my GPU voltage also increased, however that hasn't happened again. Do any of you guys have any idea what's happening to my system? I installed some chrome extension to download vimeo videos, but they have been promptly removed since then. Please help!
  12. I don't understand what is happening. My GTX1060 for some reason clocks up for no reason randomly freezes for 10-15 seconds then normalizes. I look at task manager and there was a sudden spike to 100%. With MSI afterburner open, I thought it was a heating issue so set fans to 100%. It is still the same. Looking at the HWM I see an increase in voltage, and core clock in afterburner. I'm just doing web browsing. For some reason this doesn't actually happen when I'm in game, Specs: Ryzen 7 5800X GTX 1060 6G DDR4 3200 MHZ RAM RM 650W PSU SATA SSD 256G NVM.E SSD 1TB 3TB HDD
  13. Good day! I built my pc around a month ago and have been using it seriously today to install drivers. I checked up on my hardware temps and saw one core on my 5800x is abnormally high compared to the others. Would you say this is a bug of OpenHardwareInfo? Should I reapply thermal compound? Any other monitoring programs you know to isolate the variable? All the best and thank you, Alex
