  1. a game with performance issues on high end PCs heading to mobile? fantastic switch port pls
  2. I love mine; it flies like it's on rails, and the camera protection has saved me multiple times. The low center of gravity is fantastic for acro, and with the right tune, it just seems to hang in the air forever.

Looks like my PS4 Controller that I've had for…

@Xiauj Uncharted 1 was alright, nothing special in terms of gameplay, but amazing voice acting and immersion Uncharted 2, my personal favorite, had the coolest setpiece (train), as well as a fantastic story, and Chloe, of course. Uncharted 3 was pretty good, and had some amazing character moments, but wasn't as much fun as 2 imo. Uncharted 4 looks amazing, with my favorite gunplay in any third person shooter. It was a ton of fun, and the ending was so perfect. Horizon is just fantastic. Ashly Burch is not only a good Chloe, but an amazing Aloy. Seriously, it's such a unique AAA game, one I'd highly recommend playing.
  4. for a premium, it's on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/STRIX-GeForce-Gaming-Graphics-ROG-STRIX-GTX1080TI-11G-GAMING/dp/B06XY25VTC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1511824269&sr=8-1&keywords=asus+strix+1080ti

@AluminiumTech I purchased a PS4 to play the Uncharted games and Horizon: Zero Dawn, then sold it. they're some of the best games I've ever played, my personal favorite being Uncharted 2
  6. if he doesn't like the Switch, I'd suggest reselling it; used is super close to MSRP, as it's still in high demand
  7. Even though you may have had a poor experience in the past, used is the best option at this price point. I'd suggest reddt.com/r/hardwareswap, as I've bought and sold 32 items (from 5-1200 dollars) with no issue. With that said, I'd look for: a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon MacBook Air XPS 13 (they occasionally can be found in your price range) or Alienware 13
  8. no, it won't assuming by MAX, you meant 8x msaa and ultra grass; my 1080 struggles at 1440p with those settings. If you turn down some settings and run at 1080p, most likely.
  9. afaik, g-sync only initializes when in its range. I own a g-sync panel currently, and I've never noticed screen tearing, but I rarely play games that go past 144hz anyway.
  10. 1440p 144hz is awesome. I'd suggest a Dell S2716DG, as it's 1440p, 144hz, and has G-Sync. I have one personally, and it's a fantastic panel; TN, but quite a good TN. plus, it's only 400ish dollars
  11. I have one personally, and it's a fantastic monitor. Mine doesn't have the color banding issues @Suika mentioned; afaik, the earlier panels had the issue, and the later ones resolved it. Other than that, the stand is fantastic, and the bezels are small; it's pretty unbeatable at that price.
  12. then why watch reviews? aren't they just, "other people's personal preference"?

So.. By time I get my Christmas money I have tw…

personally, I'd go for a new monitor something like a Dell S2716DG/S2417DG, a 1440p 144/165hz with G-sync, is around 300-400 dollars new, and will last so much longer than a video card.
  14. christ on a bike, forums exist to ask for opinions I highly doubt anyone would rely solely on a bunch of random people to choose their next phone; they'd definitely watch and read other reviews, but personal experience is worth so much more than a review.
  15. if you use your camera frequently, the Pixel 2 for sure if you'd like your phone's battery to last for a whole day, the Razer phone
