  1. Looking at TPU review it seems like 100C is the new normal for Raptor Lake https://www.techpowerup.com/review/intel-core-i9-13900k/23.html
  2. I feel like if corporations had standing they would have nuked those sites already. So maybe they can't do anything about it.
  3. Key resellers will get more money. I still don't understand how the legality of those sites works. There were whispers that they are shady, but then nothing is happening in terms of shutting them down.
  4. They might improve them a little bit, but I wouldn't look at the temps, look at the boost clock and GPU fan speed. If the bottom fans help by 2C, but GPU fans do not slow down and boost clock is the same there there is no need for them.
  5. With 13600K air cooling is more than sufficient, if you don't overclock it to insane levels. And AIOs will always be a bit noisier, because noise adds up, pump, fans, unless you go to very large radiators with a custom loop. I say option 2, except do not add additional fans. More fans = more noise.
  6. Barely. https://www.techpowerup.com/review/intel-core-i3-10100/15.html Techpowerup used 2080Ti at the time and the i3 was perfectly capable of not bottlenecking that. One game where it did was CIV, perfectly understandable.
  7. Why not use DP to Dual link DVI? Those adapters seem to be widely available.
  8. https://www.europarl.europa.eu/doceo/document/E-8-2017-005922_EN.html Small investment is one thing, design and manufacturing being completely Chinese is another. It's not that I think all Chinese companies are inherently bad, but in terms of phones it's really not that hard to avoid them and you don't lose much of anything by doing so.
  9. It's not that bad after patches, it has a 60 fps mode and it looks very good too. On consoles I mean.
  10. No idea, they probably use PayPal because it's truly global. It's really not that hard to set up an account.
  11. If there really a difference between 200 and 220 or 300 and 330 fps? It's still very high vs very high.
  12. Just get 5950X. CPU in games only starts making a reasonable impact once you head towards high framerates, so you can just always like not do that and ramp up the graphics more. And if you're worried about longevity think about the fact that 5600,12100F and 12400F were the value CPUs for this generation, 5950X is faster than all of those and developers would never want to abandon most of the market when developing future games.
  13. If you're going with DDR5, which I think you will be considering the processor choice then Z790 will handle higher DDR5 speeds. Other than that the differences are negligible. I'd take the Z690 board.
  14. Yes, but only on some workloads and some games. If you already have RAM it's a no brainer, just stick with DDR4. The difference is only really visible at high framerates anyway, so just raise your graphics settings.
  15. Well it's hard to tell what is what on your particular panel, but on RTINGS review they used warm 50 and it still had a 7000K white point, which is more towards blue.
  16. Warm is usually the most accurate around 6500K, but it can look yellowy if you switch between modes. You have to realize that humans are insanely bad at actually judging what white is supposed to look like, so if you leave it on warm after a bit your eyes will adjust and if you switch to neutral again everything will start looking like it has a blue tint.
  17. The reason it is happening is very simple. Economies of scale. There are a few flagship OLED/QDOLED monitors for insane costs, but they cannot afford to enter lower tier markets without risking huge losses. I would imagine the Alienware/Samsung collab on the ultrawide is losing money for every unit sold, but they are using it to test the water.
  18. The bandwidth for 4K 60Hz HDR is too high, for 120Hz HDR it's even higher. Longest optic cables certified for HDMI 2.1 are only like 20M.
  19. You can push 7950X past what 1 8pin delivers if you go by spec, but it should still work on most PSU's.

All value components for maximum FPS in games. You could swap to Ryzen 5 5600 and 6900XT for more FPS, but less CPU power.
