  1. hi guys, long story short, my old pmx 680 from sennheiser ("neck headphone") are dying and i want an upgrade i´m looking for a great new dayli driver, if possible with wireless function and optional wired my budget is around ~300 "euro" bucks and i dont have tried that many headphones myself source would be my current OP3T use: mostly outside or in the gym, not sure if i need noise cancelation inear or overear any help would be nice thanks in advance
  2. Dell got a 10-15% sale on many items, even new hardware like those displays 2 weeks ago, it might still work ( ask their support ) its actually a great display, and depending on country its not that expensive got mine AW3418DW for 1,2 grand and love it
  3. there was a 10-15% off on new systems and laptops, i asked their support if that works on displays too and used it otherwise if there´s that much price difference you can just go with the 34" IPS displays from Acer´s or Asus
  4. 60% more money oO" holy moly in germany the z35p is 1100~ish bucks and the dell is 1330 but they got a % bonus and i got it for 1,2grand so only 100 more ( pq34 and x34 were both 1100-1200 ~ish too ) always wanted to get some ultrasharps but my old 22" refuses to die so i changed my 34" aoc
  5. was thinking about the z35p too while acer didnt release the X34P i´ve been waiting for a while now, and then i had the choice between pq34 from asus, x34 or the dell just got myself this beauty and its 34" IPS 3440x1440 120hz (OC)https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/new-alienware-34-curved-gaming-monitor-aw3418dw/apd/210-amsv/monitors-monitor-accessories your 1080ti s should be able to push the fps and you still got nvidias proprietary "greed"-sync everyone wants 4k, its nice true IMO i prefer 3440x1440
  6. you could try, the worst case would be a "no" from the seller and there are plenty GPUs on the market
  7. sold my 980ti for 370 € on ebay thats like 440 us dollars i guess the prices differ alot depending on the area 1 euro > 1,185 us $ used 1070/1080 should be sold for a good price too edit: added platform where GPU was sold
  8. futureproofing is hard, but a 980ti is still a great and strong card ~1070 or higher depending on OC i can run 60fps on 3440x1440 with witcher3 maxed or ~80-100fps in BF1 going from 1080p maxed to 1440p maxed is still a great improvement keep that in mind you also didnt mention the hz you target ( 60hz / 120hz/ 144hz etc ) which is also a great improvement going from 60 to like 120hz even a 1080 wont last for 6 years i guess, depending on the games
  9. there are also glasses to protect your eyes from blue light and eye strain from razer too https://www.razerzone.com/razer-x-gunnar
  10. IMOacer´s design > asus and dell´s pricing ... i guess noone s gonna argue about that putting another premium fee on the already premium gsync price >_> then i´ll take a look on x34A deals thanks
  11. sad they showed it at the computex and we wont be able to buy it i guess i wont be able to push 200fps on that resolution with a single 1080ti also the x35 isnt IPS anymore, is HDR available in so many games? and is it the "certified" hdr standard? the alienware seems to be the better option, even at that price is it still worth to get the "old" X34 or asus rog swift panels?
  12. last year i wanted to swap my aoc 34" for a great x34, i moved and had some other projects that needed to be finished first *cough* mancave 2.0 now as i´m selling my 980ti and my 60hz aoc display to raise the budget i can finally do it ( tearing and ghosting kinda sucks) in past months bitwit and jayz2cents are still doing videos about it i´d like to stay at that 34" 3440x1440 format, just with more hz and maybe gsync to get it smoother is there is something "new" anounced thats worth waiting or a better option? i heard that acer doesnt produce the anounced X34P i´ve been waiting to get released
  13. depending on which version you use, with only 1 version its like this: WinX 1511 was ~3.3GB WinX 1607 was ~3,99GB WinX 1607 all versions ~5,88GB so you could use a double layer dvd they´re big enough edit: usb would be much cheaper, easier and smaller - download the media creation tool from microsoft and create your install dongle
  14. performance / noise the standard fans ( 37,7dB 2500rpm airflow 70,6cfm ) the nf f12 pwm ( 22,4 dB 1500rpm airflow 93,4cfm ) the noctua industrial versions ( ca 29,7dB with 2000rpm airflow 121,8cfm ) personally i took that ugly beige noctua nf f12 ^^ because i dont mind, but if i´d get hands on the black version i swap em ek vardar or bequiet silent wings3 and many other are great too
  15. @knightslugger is right, i did the same dont forget to swap those "stock fans" that sound like a jet engine for that AIO
  16. i saw some announcements on steam that they wanted to leave early access in september or so, they even doubled the price on steam after that announce so i hope for the best it might be bad optimized but hands down, the amount of updates and increasing content is a good example for the effort they put in it not to mention many early access games that just ... "die" or dont get touched by their devs anymore after collecting the money from customers
  17. waiting for ark to leave the early access phase .. so maybe the devs put some hardware optimization in
  18. a 980ti can still be overclocked if you didnt already mine can run most titles maxed on 3440x1440 at 60fps ( Witcher 3 + Nexus HDmods, Doom, BF1,... ) running at ~60°C msi afterburn settings powerlimit 110"max" corevoltage +30mv coreclock +114mhz Stock gpu 1316core/ 1753vram Max i could do was 1443core /1851vram
  19. No need for spoilers, even if you didnt read all the books. ( the directors do their own thing with kinda big differences to the books ) The author is good at one thing, "valar morghulis".... "everyone dies" so its just a matter of time The responsible IT that didnt recognize data transfers of that volume... wow... even if its stolen over a longer period, someone should see it
  20. the theoretical speeds of Sata II and III are 3 or 6 Gbit/s Serial ATA 3,0 Gbit/s, SATA Revision 2.x SATA II, SATA-300 2,40Gbit/s or 300Mbyte/s Serial ATA 6,0 Gbit/s, SATA Revision 3.x SATA III, SATA-600 4,80Gbit/s or 600Mbyte/s depending on your network speed it should be fine most HDD dont use more than Sata II practically the last time i checked my speed it was ~90-110Mbit with Sata3 HDD over Gigabit Ethernet
  21. swapping the "corsair H100i gt v2" AIO fans into quiet Noctua´s and getting half the dB output on high RPM instead of an jet taking off /s SSD RGB RAM everytime
  22. ~500ish maybe more depending on the buyer as nerdslayer1 said +10bucks more if you route the cables through the case holes try getting a ssd in your next rig
  23. step 1 give some more info about your specs -> is your pc able to output 144hz? step 2 step 3 profit try checking your nvidia or amd control panel, hopefully nvidia in case you want to use gsync and check for the resolution/hz rate settings
  24. @b3rt1l you could go for a display that has full 1440p and 144hz and maybe IPS instead of this "crooked" resolution thats not 1440p or 1080p as you said "budget" is no problem and more resolution is great, if you like those widescreen you can wait for acers upcoming X34P or get their new fancy display for like 2 grand
