  1. do you think this card will still be good in the next 4-5 years? I am only playing on a 1080p 75hz monitor
  2. i am going to be upgrading my videocard. RTX 2070S or RX 5700XT? where i am from. these two cards are selling at the exact same price 23,000 Php. around 460$ what would be the better card in the long run. i want it to last hopefully the next 4-5 years :< for reference. i currently am using a RX590 OC to 1625Mhz
  3. i have a Minecraft code like this. if i have this on xbox one.... will i be able to play minecraft on PC too? well. it actually came in this xbox bundle does this version let me get the game on pc as well?
  4. why not an identical monitor as the current one. so the setup looks symmetrical
  5. yes. i was thinking of a ryzen 3200g. but it was only 4 cores. while the i5-8400 is 6 cores. thanks for your insights i appreciate it
  6. yes. usa would definately get better prices. in this build. everything is brand new except the processor, motherboard, and graphics card. here is a pricelist in one of the biggest computer shops here int he Philippines. to convert to USD. just divide the price by 50. yes prices here are on the high side
  7. Budget (including currency): 40,000php or around 800$ Country: Philippines Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming Other details this will be a new fresh pc but the motherboard and processor are already existing. my monitors are only 1080p 75hz. so this will mainly be a 1080p gaming pc Specs: i5-8400 gigabyte H310m H some thermaltake cpu cooler idk kingston ddr4-2666 16gb x2 WD Blue 500GB SSD Seagate Barracuda 4TB HDD Gigabyte RX 590 Coolermaster MWE White 550W 2 1080p 75hz monitors some case. i forgot the name some rgb fans. idk the brand. hahahha i want to ask if you guys have any recommendations for this build? is it okay? i feel like i balanved out the specs well. i think i got a fair price for it. but idk im just going be using it for gaming. and i will not be using it for rendering or other multicore heavy tasks. attached is a photo of the pc
  8. you can use the xbox one as a wireless display. and connect your pc there.
  9. ill take a wild guess here since psn keys are 12 digits. and will link to your account and not to the playstation itself (assuming that it's set up as your primary playstation) most likely it should work. like... your account will accept the key, and will be added to your library. but if it's playable, i'm not so sure. iirc. ps5 is backwards compatible with MOST games. but not all. so if the game is linked to your account. and is supported by the ps5. then most likely. you can play it
  10. "https://thd.ifixit.com/Guide/Xbox+One+Wifi+Card+Replacement/106069"
  11. i come from southeast asia. so the part was relatively easy to find here. and for cheap here is an ifixit guide. this is the same guide i used to figure out how to replace it. good luck
  12. have you tried to resync the controller? is it a fat xbox one? its hard to tell if the controller is the problem or the console, and i doubt you can just disable a player 2 on my launch xbox one. the wireless module completely died. so i couldnt use a controller at all on it. it was just a 10$ replacement. and so far its working no problem.
  13. most games are playable offline. but you're probably gonna be playing with the 1.0 version or an unpatched version one way or another i have played gears of war 4 offline with no problems. so if you're going for single player games. it should be fine
  14. i get around like 40 - 50 hours on mine i used 2800mah AA batteries my controller is the one after the launch controller but before the slim controller.... the one with a 3.5mm but not the slim controller.
  15. Yeahhhh growing up, buying a game would be such an event. me and my 2 brothers would save up our money and get a new game like every month. so the 3 of us would go to a store and buy a game that the 3 of us agreed on. really fond memories of those times :3 now that we are already older and on our separate ways. i still find that same kinda fondness when purchasing a game. like watching all the reviews. waiting for a sale. then when buying the game. i like to smell the game. and read the case alot. hahaha
  16. Yes. this laptop isn't my main one. haha. i had only picked it up for $200 which i think is a good price for a very good condition macbook. i only use it for browsing the web. and some office work. so far it has been working great and fast. no problems whatsoever. i think sandy bridge still hold up well by today's standards. considering that youtube, facebook, word, etc dont really demand that much. i have also tried using iMovie and it seems to do fine at that too.
  17. i have seen 2009 macbooks and macbook pros running catalina in a fairly good state. but the way i have experienced it was like. stuttering issues. sometimes the launchpad would not even open. it just kinda gets stuck in the transition. completely unusable.
  18. yes i know it is unsupported. but i see older macbooks that can run catalina fine with no problems. it just so happened catalina does not support the HD6000 graphics chip (what NelizMastr said). so that causes the main slowdown anyhow. i installed high sierra and this laptop is very fast again.
  19. ohhhhhh. okay. i didnt think of it that way. the patcher i used had those legacy video drivers so i assumed the graphics would be fine.. thanks for that info. i didnt know that my amd graphics still works tho. so i guess i will just disable it once it dies. (seeing as almost all 2011 macbooks are doomed to fail) i guess ill just go back to high sierra.
  20. i recently got a 2011 15" macbook pro and decided to install catalina to it it is a fresh install. so i doubt its any software related problem. i feel like this laptop is more than capable to handle catalina i7 2635QM 8gb ram 256gb ssd any idea what causes it to be so slow? or should i just go back to high sierra?
  21. the games are amazing... but i wish the console had a more subtle look . im not saying it's ugly. but i wish it looked more sleek... like how the ps4 looked like at launch. cant wait for hzd2
  22. yes that's normal for xbox afaik. i think because when it updates. it directly over writes the game in real time. it would be better if it downloads the update.... then updates the game once everything is done. this is why i hate the way xbox updates. compared to playstation updates
  23. i suppose u can try docking it and using a wired controller you need to get into the menu to be able to sync a wireless controller to the switch.
  24. i think batocera.linux is a great way to emulate old games. it also has a nice looking menu.
  25. Yesss... after searching so many sites. i found out that it's possible to digitally download the game from the microsoft store. as long as the disc license can stil lbe read. i can play the game. thanks for some of the tips guys
