    There are so many methodologies but I was wondering for a 4th gen or higher intel chip with a P106-90 which should i just... just offline install the official drivers and set the pc to high power mode?

    I wonder if the mobo had a problem and loaded a preset for the bios to fix the prob. Try clearing the cmos.

    Hahah that is a funny story My sis has her Wacom tab on sitting on top of the casing so she can keep an eye on it. You could always put a few sheet of paper over the surface to insulate it from metal surfaces.

    Like WinNut says sounds like the mobo bit the dust.

    Another hdd increases internal temps and if bad ventilation is in effect then you go a problem on cpu/gpu throttling.
