    My dad was using our family tablet, and all of a sudden he bursts into my door and said "Did you turn off the internet? Why is this not working?", even though it was working perfectly fine. I really doubted what he was doing... I had a feeling. I checked the tablet, opened the notifications dock, and I saw xvideos videos being downloaded. Knew it... no wonder it wasn't working... he wanna watch porn online but accidentally downloaded the videos. Now we have porn on our family tablet that everyone in our house uses. Wow wtf dad.

    Someone in our province is selling a really old Lian Li case, and he's selling it for 2,500 Pesos ($58) because it is PURE ALUMINUM and for GAMING.

    Here in the Philippines;

    - If your power supply has a 6pin power connector or a "Video Card Cable" as they like to call it, it's instantly a high end PSU... FOR GAMING.

    - When gaming peripherals is being talked about, they instantly recall Razer... becuase its FOR GAMING.

    - When asked, it's always the "Video Card" that can boost the PCs overall performance. With that said, if you have a video card... ANY video card, your PC is instantly FOR GAMING.

    - We have a thing called "Offline games". "Offline games" are those games that we can't play online... you know, the ones that we downloaded off the internet that we obviously can't play multiplayer online because it's a pirated copy. (BF4/3, COD etc.)

    - Without DotA 2, a good 85% of "gamers" here won't even know what Steam is. As a matter of fact, they only had Steam because of DotA2, and ONLY DotA2.

    That'll give you some, just some ideas on how ignorant most "PC gamers" are, here in the Philippines.

    I can add more than these, but it will take too much time... too fucking much.

    EDIT: I will add some... gradually.

    - If a thing... ANYTHING... is labelled "GAMING" or "FOR GAMING", it's almost a must to make it over-the-fucking-top expensive when they resell it. Mostly doing that are those ignorant pricks, but not all are like that here.

    Sorry, I've been storing up my annoyance on those kinds of posts for too long. But I know that was too much now that I found out that terrytek is a 13 year old.

    Ok. To be fair, a couple of years ago, AND when I was "trying" to be a techie, I tried to put a Display Port-to-DVI cable on our TV to be hooked up to our PC (for some reason [skype for family purposes]).... on a HDMI port. Looking back at that now, I feel like I wanna time travel and punch myself in the face. The same year, that particular PC just died, I (again) tried to "fix" it. I opened up the case, looked at the insides, dusty as all hell, and said "what the fuck am I looking at.". Clearly I didn't know what the problem was. wow

    EDIT: I didn't mention that I was struggling to put that display port converter to an HDMI port, like it took me a good 30 minutes to an hour just trying to figure out what the fuck was up.

    Not really an experience, but these people are certainly non-techies. I don't blame them though.

    I just found an old screenshot from a game that I was so addicted to. Guess I wasn't really knowledgeable about PCs then.

    Our computer was acting up at that time (probably failing HDD or overheating GPU, or both). While playing the game, the PC froze for a moment and then there was an artifact that stayed on the screen, so I took a screenshot.

    Now that I looked at the picture, I noticed on the chat that my character said "I think it's the memory card".

    I thought... I got an artifact....because of the PC's failing "MEMORY CARD" . FOR FCKS SAKE KILL ME PLEASE.
