  1. I did a bit of research and it seems that Outemu is the manufacturer and gaote is the name of the switch or something vaguely along those lines.
  2. I just saw this on a review I just saw this in a review but I'm not really sure.
  3. I was contemplating getting this mechanical keyboard: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Water-Resistant-VicTop-Mechanical-Waterproof-Anti-ghosting/dp/B01DBYNVSY/ref=sr_1_4?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1480100582&sr=1-4&keywords=mechanical+keyboard It comes with blue gaeote switches but I can't really justify spending £80+ on a keyboard with cherry mx blues or browns. Does anyone have any experience with these switches. How they feel compared to cherry's and are they as durable etc.... Also, can this keyboard can have its key caps replaced down the line with cherry compatible key caps because the stems look pretty similar from the photo. Opinions are appreciated! Thanks.
  4. And a triple AIO is a bit overkill don't you think?
  5. What is the point of recommending a monitor that isn't even 4k?
  6. Don't over react?
  7. The only reason planes with 4 engines existed was due to that FAA rule that planes needed 3 or 4 engines to cross the Atlantic. Then the fuel crisis hit and people realised that jet engines had become so reliable the rule no longer had to be enforced in that way and instead by the new ETOPS system (I am no expert on this so correct me if I'm wrong). When this happened all the major aircraft companies and therefore airlines jumped on the twin jet bandwagon due to the massive fuel savings which spelt the end for aircraft like the A340 (thank god) and sadly the 747. 4 engined aircraft now are mainly used by the freight industry displayed by the relative success of the 747-8F and the "luxury" commercial airline industry like Emirates and Ethiad with their onboard A380 suites.
  8. As long as your download is faster than his upload you should be fine.
  9. Try using Drag files here to attach, or choose files... Max total size 20MB
  10. So I was wondering why my Gigabyte Windforce Edition GTX 960 sounded pretty quiet most of the time but then there were random spikes of fan noise. This has been going on for some time but I can only be bothered to correct it now. I opened MSI Afterburner and looked at the RPM of the fans. As you can see, the graph is extremely choppy even though the fan speed % is pretty smooth (23%) minus the one spike where I forced the fans to run at 80% speed. Strangely, the RPM of the fans actually goes down as I increase the fan speed % as shown by the dip in the tachometer graph. The fan speed is on auto but why is the RPM changing so frequently and peaking so often? Help would be appreciated, Thanks.
  11. Yeah but then they would get roasted by people saying they could have destroyed a perfectly good 4k panel such as when they did that video a while back about painting your motherboard.
  12. Wonder what bit rate youtube uses with 8k compared to 4? 8K Video - is it worth it?
  13. So I am trying to compress my documents using 7Zip so I can back them up. I usually encrypt them using AES256 because I don't want the cloud service I am using to scroll through my data when I upload it but I am running into the problem where 7Zips says it at 100% on the progress bar, got 00:00:00 time left but it does not show a completed screen as the speed slowly goes down for around 14MB/s to 7MB/s as shown on the screen shot. I have tried pressing cancel and opening the file but it doesn't work and I have tried changing the format for.7z (ultra) to .zip (fast) to see if that helps but it doesn't. Can you guys think of any solutions? Thanks
  14. Stupid question. What does "Bridge" internet connections do in windows? My broadband is 6 Mbps, and my phone had a speed of 18Mbps. I tethered the phone to my PC and "bridged" connections and I got 22Mbps down with similar results to the upload speed as well. Thanks
  15. If step 4 worked why didn't you try this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8unagKHPGt8
  16. BAKKER ELKHUIZEN keyboard, g502 mouse accompanied with a Dragon War mouse mat and a pair of generic headphones. The Feenix stuff will be a big upgrade
