Hi, so my phone(Android 4.2.2) recently updated Google Play Services to the latest version and suddenly I cant start some apps(Soundhound, Wifi Analyzer, DroidCam...). They keep crashing right after i launch them and when i choose to report the crash it crashes the Google Play Store If i uninstall updates on the services or disable it entirely all of the apps run fine, but then no google app works so its dead end. Does anybody have similar issue or the smallest clue how to fix this? Thx for answers

I think building a brand new low-powered home server with RAID card just to run 4 drives is a bit overkill or is there some particular reason that you want it? You can go way cheaper with 4-bay NAS and you would be fine... I would recomend you any Synology 4-bay NAS... I personaly own their DS213j 2-bay with two WD REDs in RAID 1 and I am getting maximum from those drives and the power consumption is incredibly low. And if you are afraid about the firmware.. I would argue that synology has the best NAS firmware solution out there... the web interface is basically windowed OS with apps which allowes you to set up anything. DIY homeserver requies a lot of tinkering with the OS but this is 100% functional right after you plug it into the wall... Check that out because maybe its the solution you are looking for.

I wonder if I could ever get those games working... Since I've bought it I wasn't able to download origin from their server, the activation page said that it's not available, help page is on error 404... same with their custemer service page and the origin itself look like this. I ain't even mad because I helped a good cause but I can't believe that someone that huge as EA just can't get this thing working...

EA are such an amateurs... after 20 hours I am still not able to download Origin :angry: :angry:

I dont think the RAM is the issue here... the fact that the notebook monitor havent worked and glowed white for quite some time really points on the graphics... if it was RAM issues I would saw it in windows.... this model is really hard to get opened... once I tried to get inside one HP notebooks, similar construction but older model... I would seriously damage the case if I wanted to get inside...

So I flashed the newer version of BIOS and the result is the same. I blame the graphics card and I dont think there is any way i can fix this by myself. He was a great high-end notebook back in his day and now his watch is ended. So thank you all, guys, for your suggestions and replies. I very appreciate it

Thanks! I've already known about the support page but selected Win 7 x64 and there is no BIOS download... heh, support these days :/ I'll try to flash the BIOS tomorow.

That sounds interesting. I didn't know that the emulation is posible. It's HP compaq 8510w, it has nvidia quadro mobile graphics card in it...
