  1. This is one I was looking at myself, it looks to be perfectly usable outside at night. It's also descent indoors during the day as long as you keep the lighting to a minimum. Review Xgimi Elfin It's rated at 800 ANSI Lumens so if it's solely for use outdoors I would recommend the XGIMI HORIZON Pro instead.
  2. Just bite the bullet and build a Ryzen system ... you won't regret it!
  3. Welcome to the LTT family ?
  4. I have my partners wii, don't really use it now. Did install homebrew channel but done nothing with it.
  5. I love the thrustmaster Wheel and what looks like T500 pedals set
  6. Some retailers are selling the Rx590 for the same price as the Rx580. Just need to shop around!
  7. But can't the same be sound about Intel ... and I though they had a larger number of them tbf.
  8. I would recommend downloading MSI afterburner, then trying playing a game. You can then take a screenshot when you get the fps dip.
  9. Don't really see any point in upgrading unless you are getting low fps or experiencing performance issues.
  10. Seems a bit pricey for only fhd, I got mine from BenQ used for £150.
  11. Yep try swapping out your GPU if you have a spare one lying around.
  12. Not sure that 8k is "around the corner". Most games support 4k but you will need beefy hardware to get high fps with those kind of resolutions. What games do you plan on playing. And what's your maximum budget?
  13. I'm still using my BenQ XL2420Z, it might be old but it's still working perfectly.
  14. What about this one, it's supposed to support Active Dual Link Newegg DVI-D to VGA Adapter
  15. What ports do you have on the GPU. I used to run a vga to dvi adapter from my monitor and had no issues with latency. It will act as a pass through as no data is being "converted".
  16. Just some advice, looking at your signature ... you might want to think about upgrading your memory. Looks a bit slow.
  17. What are your hardware specs. Also there are many reputable manufacturers ... it would be hard to recommend just one. Are you looking at semi-modular or fully modular, what are your power requirements??
  18. What are the prices in your area, if you can get it for the same price I'd opt for the 590 (or pay the small difference). I've just bought the Powercolor rx 590, but haven't got round to testing it just yet!
  19. Manufacturer Code - NOV-PSG501 I got the PSU cheap so worst outcome is I can buy another one in the future!
  20. I am looking at purchasing a new graphics card, but I'm worried I won't have enough power in reserve. Current System: ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F Motherboard AMD Ryzen 7 2700X CPU Western Digital 1TB HDD Sandisk Ultra 128GB SSD 16GB (2x8GB) Adata XPG Spectrix D60G 3000MHz DDR4 RAM Novatech 500W PSU 80 Plus Rated I was looking at purchasing a RX 590, would I need a 600w PSU to be safe?
  21. Hello LTT I have just planned my new Ryzen build, just wanted some recommendations on a graphics card to add to the project. This will be for a moderately priced system, which will be used for a single 144hz 1080p display This is what I have ordered so far: ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F Motherboard AMD Ryzen 7 2700X CPU 16GB (2x8GB) Adata XPG Spectrix D60G 3000MHz DDR4 RAM Novatech 500W PSU 80 Plus Rated Wanted to spend no more than £250, so I was planning on getting a GTX 1660ti, just wanted to hear what other peoples recommendations would be before I pull the trigger! I will mostly be playing Rainbow Six Siege, Star Citizen and the new Microsoft Flight Simulator when that launches. Thanks ?
  22. I wouldn't trying using that for storing steam game data, the bandwidth for the controller would give very slow performance if you plan to run games from there. Also these things are prone to fail, what model linkstation have you got ... I had one with the single drive and it died on me.
  23. What about these from Meraki: https://documentation.meraki.com/MV/MV_Smart_Camera_FAQ
  24. Nothing, just bought myself a new mobile phone. Probably saving up for a 4k TV next year if all goes to plan.
  25. It says 1ms on the specification, so what's the question?
