  1. How did you check if the disks are fine? Also, this might be happening due to a loose connection on the disk or a disk issue. We'll need BSOD logs. Check also if you got anything on Event Viewer -> Windows logs -> System.
  2. You could try using it as a VM/docker server, PLEX server or NAS. You could also just sell it's parts.
  3. Just so we're completely clear, when you mean "lag" you mean frame rate or internet lag (rubber banding etc)? If you're talking about performance, then your GPU or CPU might be downclocking and making you get worse performance due to high temperatures. Could you tell us your specs? Also can you play games with a monitor software such as HWINFO opened and tell us the max temperature values of your CPU and GPU after you play?
  4. Might be a bad PSU, try it with a different one. Also try to put a fan on your motherboard to ventilate the VRMs and check if it still happens. CPU temps might be fine but your case might not be well ventilated and the VRMs are suffering that's why it only happens 30-50 mins while gaming.
  5. I had similar issues with my 7700K (4 cores tho). They were pinned at almost 100% constantly with my 1080 Ti at 3440x1440. The game is very demanding on the CPU. The best you can do is disable NVIDIA REFLEX (if you have it ON) and limit FPS through NVIDIA control Panel.
  6. Turn off DOCP because I had issues with my computer bluescreening as well randomly and during games with it on. My i7-7700K before never had issues with the RAM and XMP profiles but apparentlty the current BIOSes aren't stable with XMP profiles. I had to tune the settings manually and set the frequency manually as well on the BIOS for it to work. If I did the XMP profile, I'd also have an unstable computer. What BIOS rev do you have right now? I have a Gigabyte motherboard and the same thing is called XMP.
  7. Yes, it'll reduce it's lifespan. Damage? Highly unlikely.
  8. Before you do that, switch the cable and try a different PSU port after.
  9. It depends on what you want to play tbh. I wouldn't consider a RTX 2060 great value honestly. With the new GPUs coming out, just get the RTX 3060 I suppose.
  10. Switch the 8 pin cable with a different one and stress test your system. You can try these: 1. If it happens again, use a different PSU port. 2. Clean your drivers and reinstall them. 3. Try with a different PSU from a friend. If none of the options above fix it, then I'll just assume it's a GPU problem.
  11. What does "better rendering with superior texture detailing" even mean? Never look at userbenchmark for peformance metrics. The RX5700 XT performs a tiny bit better than a RTX2060 Super.
  12. It doesn't have ultrawide support? No buy from me then.
