  1. my favourite size is the 80%, because it's so much more comfortable to type or game and to use the mouse, without the numpad in between. However I haven't find yet a 80% keyboard with dedicated media keys and programmable keys, which I use quite a lot.

    My new rig

I don't get why you chose such a huge case, it looks so empty, will you watercool everything by any chance?
  8. are you using the 5.25" bays? because you could mount res and/or pump there.. One will probably be stuck by the rad, but the other two won't
  9. Build one, but, first question first: do you really need a 6 cores processor? And all that memory? You will easily save 450$ if you don't use some specific multi thread and ram demanding applications.. Then I agree about the 1300 PSU (you could run something like 4 graphic cards on that thing) and the single card over the SLI, there are two reason for SLI: you want moar powa than the best you can get with a single GPU, or you already have one card and you're buying the second one later to boost the perfomances. Then, the thermal compound is included with the noctua heatsink, and is very good, you don't need another one for the CPU. Eventually, because you're buyign a lot of fans, may I suggest to take a look at the bitfenix spectre pro? they cheaper and perform pretty awesome (and I think they look better too).
  10. may I suggest a little change in the hdd/ssd configuration? I would go for a bigger ssd (180-240 or so), in order to make a 30 GB partition to use as cache for two bigger hdds (for example 2 WD red 2GB intellipower) in raid 1, so you'll have room for storage, softwares AND backup (1GB won't be enough for everything) and a lot of performance as well with the ssd cache. it's gonna cost a little bit more but you'll be super safe, super fast and super full of space from the beginning, and you won't regret that in the future, because it's always problematic to upgrade the harddrives or change configuration.
