  1. I have a slight complaint, more towards YouTube's mobile app. When you tap on a creators icon on any recommended video, normally it would bring you to their channel, but since LTT is live constantly now, it'll just take you to the stream, rather than the LTT page. Some people might just stay for the stream, but more people would likely leave. This could hurt analytics and mess up their algorithm performance to see a bunch of people hop into the stream and leave immediately because they were just trying to get to the channel.
  2. If I wanted to bring my wife alone who doesn't game, but wants to come along, how do?
  3. 1080 ti (fixed). Its an AMP! Extreme.
  4. I've got a deal made with someone on CL to trade my 1070 Strix and 350 in cash for a 1080 ti. Just a sanity check, but is that worth it? I've already done the math, and its pretty even at about 800.
  5. The thing is, It already has the option to mount to the back. It has a removable cage in the front and you take the sleds out in order to mount to the bak. Cheap 'ol thermaltake decided that nobody deserves to have more than three drive sleds, so I'm up shit creek.
  6. I'd love to, but this case is a shower. It's got tempered glass everywhere. I could put some velcro behind it tho.
  7. Looking to do some creative mounting in order to fit more drives in my case. I have the thermaltake view 31, and it only has three drive sleds. I have 3 2.5 inch drives, and two 3.5 inch drives. Two of the 2.5 inch ones can share a single 3.5" sled, but I need a place to put the other 2.5 inch. My first thought would be to get one of those pci slot to 2.5 inch adapters, but that would look tacky with wires running everywhere. My second (and possibly more devious thought), would be to order something like this from caselabs, which adapts what looks like a 120mm fan mount into a drive cage. I don't know about any 120 mm fan to drive cage adapters out there, so let me know if you know of a good one. I'm also open to 3d printing one. Any comments, suggestions?
  8. I want to know where the heck he got an rgb strip for three dollars. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  9. Do you have any suggestions for software that I can use ( hopefully free) that will mirror the raid nightly? I am also pretty sure windows supports doing this automatically, but I'd rather have a third party software that is a little bit easier to navigate than control panel.
  10. Does anyone else think that Luke should do another folding video? I think if they had extra server space, they could make a decent killing in views and ad money by making a balls to the wall cpu and gpu folding machine.
  11. quick question maybe not quick I have 2 identical ocz SSD's, at 240 gb apiece. I want to raid 0, but data loss is a thing. I have a thrid drive, a 500gb 7200 rpm laptop hard drive. Can you (or even should you) raid 10 between three different drives? where I raid 1 the hdd against the 2 ssd's?
  12. I would want to see the MSI GS-43VR Phantom pro in a close up review. there was a laptop cooling pad underneath, and I can guarantee that is not by mistake. Thermal performance is probably not great considering it's specs and the size.
  13. So with the whole kerfuffle about the scheduler, and the CCX rumors, I'd like to say that I want to think positively about the 4c8t models. If AMD manages to significantly improve clock speeds with less cores on the package, we may see their equivalent to the 6700k, or even the 7700k. Ryzen 5 is not meant to compete with the Extreme edition processors, so hopefully it's at least price competitive to the consumer i7.
  14. Red dead redemption 2 now has an official trailer. Rockstar games posted a teaser earlier this week, and now, owners of ps4 and xbone can look forward to a sequel. "Red Dead Redemption 2 will release worldwide in fall 2017 on PS4 and Xbox One" How long do you think it'll be till there is a proper PC port, and if so, would you play it on PC or console, if at all?
  15. I use a NAS to back all it all up in case windows bones me again
  16. Perhaps a ploy by Microsoft to get more stats on user downloads?
  17. At least since the licence is tied to my Microsoft account, so I can reinstall when I need to.
  18. I wouldn't be surprised about a second round of lawsuits as well.
  19. Source: http://wccftech.com/microsoft-refers-windows-10-rs2-version-1703/ Microsoft hints at "build 1703" as Microsoft Redstone 2. There are also rumors of a launch date sometime around March or April of 2017. My question to the forum: Would you upgrade?

  22. Just a copypasta for future shitty youtube comments.
  23. Ubuntu is super easy to set up, and has native support for flash in firefox. Fedora is also easy to set up, but as it is debian based, it is a little bit less compatible. I run Fedora on my laptop, and it feels lie a macbook. That said, it is not a walled garden. If you play mostly valve games, you shouldnt have a problem, and other large games as well. Check the steam store page and it should say whether or not it is linux compatible.
