  1. Red flag week. Because women all have one.
  2. Very nice. I almost went with the Cosmos SE over the Cosmos 2 but it wasn't big enough for me to be able to use my motherboard properly.
  3. Just got an email from the guy who is making my cables.
  4. There are a few different things you can try. First up is T cut metallic. http://www.amazon.co.uk/T-Cut-Metallic-Colour-Restorer-375ml/dp/B003ZDFXCY The reason it's metallic is that it's a finer compound. I used to use it (still got it) for my Alienware P2s which were clear coated. It's awesome for cutting out scratches in clear coat, would work just as well on plastic. Then if you want something finer try this. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Meguiars-PlastX-Plastic-Polish-296/dp/B0000AY3SR I used to use it on my car's headlights as they were plastic. It's awesome for taking out the finest of scratches. The only issue I foresee is that some parts of the G3 are like a smoked plastic and if you use those compounds you will make it clear or shiny. When I did my G3 mod in 2004 (I was one of the first to do a hackintosh for Pear PC emulator) I repainted the case in warning colours. See if I can find a pic or two... Whatever you decide to do though I wish you the best of luck. Hacking a G3 is much more complicated than a G5 because there is a lot of hardware inside and the space is far smaller than a G5. I just about managed to cram a MATX board into mine
  5. They're quite flimsy but I would imagine a window will give them strength back. TBH 3mm acrylic is probably less flexible than the very thin steel they use on this case.
  6. Super sharp shooter shooting super sharp shots.

  7. I've got one They are pretty rare though considering what they cost. Most would have gone with the 3930k.
  8. Old skool gaming. Daytona USA, Half Life, Gunman Chronicles etc.
  9. lol you numpty it won't look anything like that ! that was just the colour I had set for when I draw using Photoshop, green background makes it easier to clean parts up ! It's just a scribbled down indicator to show you what sort of cover panels I'll be making. The end design will be in black, silver and green, all to match the GPU. That's the idea here dude the whole rig is a tribute to the Titan colours.
  10. Don't worry about that dude. Once everything is fitted I have a few cover panels that will cover pretty much everything but the GPU. Here, look at this example pic I just made up in Photoshop. Should give you a rough idea of what I am planning. I have loads of acrylic left over from the DFI project that never got finished and plenty of vinyl
  11. Just testing to make sure everything fits. Cue moment of utter panic when I couldn't get the GPU in and realised the PSU must be removed for it to fit. Phew ! I thought I had wasted £600 !!! Next up I need to make a stand for two 2.5" drives to go in the bottom and make the cover panels for the rest. Can't believe the cooler actually fits in there !
  12. I laud the work you have put into this but being honest it just looks like a pile of parts being held together by some pretty plastic plates.

I might be getting a Toyota Camary soon, idk wh…

TBH if it's a Toyota the engine is practically bullet proof so you shouldn't need to get your hands dirty. I would be more worried about the leccy windows and shit.

A Toyota? way to go. Next thing you'll be sniffing your own farts as if they were glasses of fine wine.
  15. They're not that small. They have quite a big foot print too. Nice to see it'll be packed with gear though.

I asked my parents if I could get GTA V, hmmmm.…

    Just steal it dude.
  17. Just sent the cables away to Shakmods. Also sent colour samples, so they're on their way ! Woohoo !!
  18. Your rig will be fine for 4k because mine's the same really. 3970x stock atm with SLI Titan Black and it runs butter smooth. Bummer about the paint man. I had the same happen to me before. I clear coated my car's tail lights and packed them in bubble wrap to take them home a few hours later. Odd pock marks lol.
  19. And it was time to put the case back together. I made a bit of a booboo, though. The relief hole I cut was in the wrong side and it turns out it didn't need one. Stupid = me. However along that part there are a couple of ugly screw holes I want nothing to do with so I am going to cut a piece of acrylic and cover the side up. Any way, here she is all put back together. In my old age I very, very rarely ever get excited over PC hardware any more but I must say I'm very happy with how this turned out. The case is pretty much done now other than the cover I need to make and the hard drive rack I want. The case comes with two mounts for drives but I want two on the floor so I am going to make an acrylic floor panel with vents in to allow the air to the drives. I am sending the cables away tomorrow to a company who are going to be braiding the entire PSU end to end. Then it's pretty much just building the thing and she will be ready to game on
