A friend approached me a few weeks ago about making a macro for his keyboard that would play the shortcut Win Key+Ctrl+Left and another one for the same shortcut just with Right at the end. I thought it was a simple task turns out its a lot harder or I'm looking at it the wrong way. The way I approached it was via my macro recorder on my own keyboard, after doing so I assigned it to a macro key, pressing it only gave me the start menu (btw its supposed to move your view to the next virtual desktop on WinX) I did this using Steelseries Engine. Next I used AutoHotKey I know my way around and I made two, probably should be one like a toggle idk, anyways, once playing them before assigning them as applications to my keyboard macros I found out the one to move right worked but it still remained active so the other one was simply ignored it seems because I manually pressed the one for the right and when activating the .exe for the left to test it would work just fine. I also used other similar applications for automating the process but I haven't come up with a solution. I did scrap the .ahk files if you were to request them to see what I did because I kind of gave up before I asked here. If anyone has a solution to this do let me know. Hopefully I posted this in the right subforum.
