  1. These system specs are low to the point that you will only get the most basic 3D rendered games to run, and likely not well. Older games you may have better luck with. This PC wasn't designed to play games.

OP is happy with it, why are you arguing?
  3. Good 1TB SSDs can be had for $130. If you can't buy that now, just save up. Anything you put on the SSD will load faster, but I don't think it is worth it. While not ideal, I still think a 120GB for OS boot with games, user folders and applications loading off the HDD is preferable to the opposite.
  4. I don't know what my very first PC had graphics-wise. My first laptop had a GeForce MX420 Go 32MB GPU. It allowed for DVD decoding, hot stuff. But it ran Far Cry on low, so I was happy. It wasn't able to run F.E.A.R. due to not supporting Pixel Shader 2.0. My first desktop GPU was a GTX 430 1GB. It ran Far Cry 3 on medium around 30 fps.
  5. Games like League, I wouldn't expect a HDD to peg to the degree that you'd feel it. I don't know how much you multi-task, what kind of background processes you have going and such, it makes it harder to say definitely. However, I have tried running games that utilize large amounts of VRAM and seen a hard drive limit performance. I would recommend getting an SSD, as everything else in your system is higher tier.
  6. Red Dead 2 is currently PS4/PS4 Pro only. If/when we get a PC port, that system isn't likely to be a nice experience. If you were to get a dedicated video card for that system, the graphics portion on the APU effectively go unused. In some cases this can help with CPU performance because the power/thermal limitations are only a factor with the CPU portion.
  7. Can confirm. I have a i5 2500 in my dedicated Minecraft box. Never more than 6 people online, the system isn't stressed. I keep it running for my nieces and nephews.
  8. *stared blankly and blinked at my screen.... I can't believe I forgot about the Rift.
  9. I thought Facebook had a phone years back. Maybe the distinction is that Facebook made this device in-house instead of partnering with a device manufacturer? *Note: Haven't watched le video yet.
  10. Clicked because I was hoping for Socket 7-Socket A type PCs.
  11. Most likely space being taken for partition and redundancy info. It could also be related to Windows Shadow Copy. Either way, I really wouldn't stress over it. Install some games, test and decide if this solution will work for you.
