    Yeah, just calling it a "service" doesn't make it one Microsoft...

    @OnyxArmos Because 90% of the time I hate it, if I didn't need it to run Destiny 2 and some other stuff I use I'd move to Linux in a heartbeat. It's a pretty damn broken OS, has a crap ton of bugs that it's had since 7 (and I assume before that, but I grew up with a teeny bit of Vista and mostly 7), that MS really has no excuse for not fixing. Still likes to kill itself over time faster than other OSes in my experience, the update process still has massive room for improvement, it installs candy crush and shit like that by default, I have to click an extra button just to switch to Firefox as default browser because their browser is such shit they have to advertise it in their own OS (whereas I've never needed a single suggestion to use Safari on macOS, it's excellent), and every. single. time. I have to install windows (am an IT admin and I'm always building PCs at home so I do it a fair bit) I have to wait for stupid cortana to go through it's moronic intro cycle, no option to skip it that I know of. Then I have to manually disable cortana and all the other crappy tracking things MS has enabled by default, all before I can even get to the OS. Linux and macOS both have much, much simpler and smoother setup processes, faster too.

    @TVwazhere facts, lol

    @OnyxArmos No, games and software running on them is somewhat down to the OS (espesh in the case of macOS, I don't think they've built the stuff into the OS since recently when they started trying to support game devs better), but it's mainly up to the devs to support or not support a platform. Windows is just the most widely used OS, so there's a lot more games and other software built for it. For me it's mainly the gaming aspect, at work I use macOS cause it runs pretty much everything I need. Linux sadly doesn't have much game support or any support for MS Office and stuff which I need for work.
