  1. This AirPod actually charges wirelessly although you still need to charge its case to even charge the AirPods
  2. And I just bought the RX 460 4gb model for my brother like 3 days ago.. But then I can't be bothered to flash the bios to a new card since there's the risk of bricking it.
  3. Considering the exhaust vents are just above the touchbar, I bet the heat will also massively shorten the touchbar lifespan or even cause it to fail prematurely.. Welp looks like my current RMBP should have higher and longer resale value if these issues keep happening with the new RMBP.
  4. I'd pick a good clean turbo diesel (Euro 5) car over any weak petrol hybrid car any day.
  5. Now the cat is out of the bag,it makes me wonder whether the earlier rumour about it trying to acquire Mclaren or maybe a division of it was actually true
  6. hang on it does have a software for button and dpi customisation. my bad. nothing too fancy tho
  7. doubt it. it's a pretty old fashioned mouse. no software bs.
  8. i know nothing about MMO games but this mouse is certainly suitable for small hands http://www.coolermaster.com/peripheral/mice/spawn/
  9. I honestly don't really care that much what performs better as long as it wont burn my wallet lol. I'm not going to use that pc myself ever. But good to know which is better so I can compare the price to performance ratio
  10. Well this cpu has actually reached 5.1GHz oc with only 1.3v during its lifetime. Maybe I'll have a dip at ocing it again if I have the time. Consensus seems to suggest 1050ti or the 460. I shall have a look at those gpus tomorrow. Thanks
  11. I need to fix my old pc which I gave to my little brother just over 2 years ago. I need to replace the gpu as I suspect it is dead (running on iGPU atm) but I'm actually out of the loop with what's available in the market now. These are the specs for the pc; i5 2500K + NH-D14, 16gb ram, Asus Z68-V Pro, GTX 560ti something (dead), 1080p monitor. corsair 500R case This pc is purely for gaming but nothing too demanding plus he's only 15 y/o. nothing too expensive or overkill if possible. I have no real budget tho. Do advise accordingly. Thanks LTT
  12. I would highly suggest you to try them out first if possible. Doesn't matter how good the ANC or sound quality is but if it is not comfortable to use over a medium/long duration, it's not worth getting imo. I love the looks of 1000X but the PXC 550 is more comfortable and has more features. Momentum 2 Wirelesss also a good choice if you're ok with the styling.
  13. Nope. I still stands by my opinion that the 1000X is the least comfortable headphones amongst the three and even Sony's cheaper 1000ABN is more comfortable to wear than the 1000X. The PXC 550 might have smaller ear cups but it still fits my ears nicely and they aren't touching/rubbing against the angled drivers inside. I wear glasses and PXC 550 has more cushion on the pads than the 1000X.
  14. Sony might arguably have the better ANC but certainly not that much that you'd even notice it. All there (Bose,Sennheiser,Sony) has really good ANC. But the 1000X is undeniably the most uncomfortable to wear amongst those 4 pair mentioned. Barely any depth in the ear cup and padding is too little and gets warmer faster. Even the cheaper MDR-100ABN is much more comfortable to wear. The Bose has the best ANC and comfort but you can't turn off the ANC to use it and you can't use it while charging. PXC 550 has internal DAC which is a convenient if you're plugging it to the pc via usb to charge and listen to music at the same time. The touch control is very responsive and intuitive albeit can be bit too sensitive sometimes. But it is still usable even when using the 3.5mm cable. And the Captune software for IOS and Android will let you adjust the presets and EQ and other settings with the headphones. Also, 3 months free trial of Tidal Premium ;p. Maybe I should write a short review of the PXC 550 someday whenever I'm free.
  15. Have you tried looking at Sennheiser PXC 550? I have those and it's simply brilliant. I've also tested the Bose QC 35 and Sony MDR 1000X and Sennheiser Momentum Wireless 2 and the PXC imo is the better pair.
  16. Ever thought of getting the 16GB version instead?
  17. You should check out Architecture books. anything up to $300 is still normal. even more so if it's of a high quality limited edition
  18. because custom ROM is available to all the android phones out there and everyone knows how to do it...oh wait.
  19. I've seen you ranting in other thread(can't remember what) not too long ago about click bait title and yet here you are doing the same thing..smh
  20. @ShadowCaptain sorry to necro your thread but what headphone did you finally get? I'm currently looking at the QC35, Sony MDR100ABN and Sennheiser PXC 550(which is stupidly expensive btw and probably my last option).
  21. No magsafe and that butterfly switch keyboard alone are enough to put me off from upgrading. And maybe the price too. As a heavy CAD user, key travel and physical escape key are too important for me to be messing with. I don't get it. Why bother making it thinner when you'd still end up carrying multiple thick dongles anyway? The powerbrick is probably the same size/weight too. Should've kept the old laptop size/thickness and just improve the battery a little bit more. I'm keeping my late 2013 rmbp no doubt.

    New Surfaces

Now if only it has TB connectors, using external gpu could be an interesting possibility
