Most likely not. That rain is most likely being diverted to less critical parts and not things like the battery connectors.

Plus I don't think the screen got water into it. But under water who knows.

Of course, but i do have to say its pretty much the same as you opening your chrome browser and working online in your google docs etc. you can hook up mass storage devices via usb 2 and 3
so you can watch video or photos. you can expend its memory (16gb, with 100gb gdrive storage) with SD cards.

this is it desktop after you unlock the chrome book. to the left, chrome, gmail, gdocs, youtube and all the dots opens a pop up with some more apps.

as you see here, the file manager. the "download folder" is infact your onboard ssd. afterplugging in a sd or usb it will pop up beneath it.

and here, the samsung chromebook it self. it looks really sweet and stylish. but its a piece of plastic... keyboard feels nice(got a cherry MX black CM storm trigger normally) and battery life is great! aprox 6.5 hours.

i think its a more then decent purchase so far. just some slight details i would love to know more about

well recently had a similair topic on the forum. Since planting a gtx 780 in my case its acting like a vacuum cleaner and destroying my airflow. So i ended up swapping my 3 stock fans for aftermarket and adding a special side fan for just my 780. things seem to be more the way i like it to see. btw my case is a Corsair C70

Got a ridiculously good deal for this card so I snatched it up.  Selling the MSI 7970 Boost to my brother. Although it is PNY......they really didn't do anything to the card itself aside from throwing a factory OC on it.  It has the Titan cooler which is rock solid and works very well.  Noticeable boost in FPS playing Crysis 3 at 2560x1440 with everything turned on, not that the 7970 had any trouble at all, the mins and max are around 10-15% higher.  It has yet to get over 80C on everything I've tried.  It's audible at peak but better than the 7970 and the MSI Twin Frozr III treatment is one of the better ones for the 7970 on thermals and audibles.  Running the Nvidia drivers that came with the unit, 320.11 and no issues there either.  Gonna wait till all is clear with the .18 version, maybe it's just sensationalism going on but I don't want to chance it.

Anywho, for those that were interested, it's a decent card for the retail price of $650.00.  The MSI is obviously a better bang for buck at $400.00, it gets the job done, you just can't beat it from a $ standpoint.  If I wasn't in a position to sell the 7970 and if I i had to pay retail for the 780, I definitely would of stuck with the 7970

I had this case and put an AF120 and an SP120 (for the bottom hard drive cage) at the front for intake. The cables on the Corsair Air Series fans are so short compared to the stock fans, the bottom one couldn't reach any of the headers on my P8Z77-V motherboard.
Also, I don't know if I just mounted it wrong but the front filter was slightly rubbing against the blades producing this slight hum.
As for the inside, I took the middle hard drive cage out to create this "tunnel effect" of airflow towards my then 660's in SLI. I don't know if it actually made a difference but it made sense at the time.

I do like the extra resolution for gaming, screen is pretty much perfect, it doesn't bleed or anything. You may see some motion blur, since it is a PLS panel, but I would take the vibrant colour over a slight motion blur, any day. Only think I would recommend is calibrating the monitor when you get it, since it's apart of the PB line it doesn't come pre-calibrated, other than that its the best monitor I have used.

Tech Things You Dont Know But Are Too Afraid To Ask

So, everyone has one or two things that they dont know and are to afraid to ask because they think it will make them look dumb.
So, what are yours? Post them here and hopefully someone will help you out, maybe even link you an article that helped them, maybe Linus and or slick can address it in the live stream, maybe linus and slick have something they dont know. As i said before Everyone has something they dont know and I think we need to learn more than we know already and what better community to do that in that this one?

So post what you dont know and maybe someone will tell you and If someone posted something that you where wondering too dont repost unless you still dont understand or need more questions answered.

    My Questions:

What are RAM timings and why are they important?

What exactly is cas latency? and what does it affect?

How do you know what voltage to set your CPU at when overclocking?

    How do you overclock RAM?

So post away and remember no question is a stupid question.

As long as there are no filters and at least like 3in of clearance from the fan then the AFs will be fine. For anything else I would use SPs..Here is a great explanation on airflow..

Do you have fan filters? Cause if you do the AF fans will barely push or pull through them.. I use SP fans in my whole case except in the rear I have a af140..

I would put a AF120 fan for intake in the bottom to give your gpu a good intake. I would get some SP120 if you are using them on the radiator. As for the intake, I would just either use the stock Corsair fans or get some AF120.

    In Summary:
    2 AF120 for intake
    1 AF120 on the side/bottom
stock Corsair fan on the back for exhaust
SP120 (optional. + stock corsair fans) for your radiator

My config for my 120mm radiator is:
2 Cougar Turbine 120mm intake in front
1 Cougar Turbine 120mm intake on the bottom side fan mount
stock radiator fan+ Cougar Turbine 120mm in rear exhaust
2 stock corsair fans exhaust for top

Okay if you want adaptive mode (for max power saving/cool temps over offset mode) - in AIDA64 (when you are in adaptive mode) make sure only the stress CPU option should be selected, nothing else. If you stress FPU, Cache, memory or GPU, the FIVR table gets overwritten giving you your high 1.3V
