  1. Technically not, but Gigabyte released their windforce cooler at Computex for the 780 and Titan. It comes as a kit, and you have to put on the aftermarket cooler yourself. I think it would be similar process with any other card manufacturer.
  2. If you want to go with a single card, go with a Titan, as you might actually take advantage of the extra RAM with a surround setup.
  3. Yeah, well right now I kind of wish I had a job. I need to get some money for college, and having a free summer really isn't helping.
  4. Yeah, as others have said, is the CPU block mounted correctly? Also, I might suggest putting on new thermal paste, something like Icy Diamond or Arctic Silver 5.
  5. I have a free summer right now without a job, so I would probably do much of what I am doing now. Spend lots of time on the forum, watch TV shows, hang out with friends, watch youtube, and hopefully save up to get enough money to build another computer.
  6. Yeah, well it's not the phone price that I can't afford, but the massive data plan that I would have to pay for.
  7. Yeah, it sucks that I have an iPod Touch 3rd gen thats now 2 iOS updates behind. I definitely want to try iOS 7, but have noting to try it on.
  8. I guess people figure that HDMI is the way to go when it comes to home theatre cables. They should definitely start putting a DVI or displayport on TVs though.
  9. $119 shipping is one way to get people to build their own NAS.
  10. The 660ti will slow down your 780. Learn more about it here:
  11. There is definitely a demand for computer science majors, but one problem is that many people are learning it themselves. If you are a decent learner, you can pretty much teach yourself all you need to know by going online and practicing a lot. So, I have heard people majoring in something like computer engineering or mechanical engineering instead, so you get the most out of the money you are paying for college.
  12. 3ds max is also a pretty popular one for 3d modeling and animation. If you are a student, you can even get a free version of it.
  13. I don't see a reason to, but why were you upgrading? If your unhappy with your current board, and like the features of the Crosshair V formula, go for it.
  14. Yep, I believe its possible. However, you would probably get more for your money if you mined with both GPUs.
  15. The Corsair c70? It's not the most quiet case, but if you put the right components in it, you can create a silent computer with great cooling.
  16. It's a High Speed PC tech station http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l00cSgE2jo4
  17. I actually wouldn't suggest doing the Phys-x setup. The performance increase is minimal, at best:
  18. Yeah, I would say go for the dual 1920x1080. Or, if you just want a single monitor, go for the regular 2560x1440.
  19. I would say go for the dual titans. You will actually take advantage of the extra RAM with the large monitor size, and scaling starts to decrease beyond dual SLI.
  20. The fps difference is minimal between the two, and PCI gen 2.0 16x is equivalent to PCI gen 3.0 8x.
  21. Are you wanting a dual monitor setup? There are a few widescreen monitors out there, and I think someone at either Computex or CES unveiled a 21:9 monitor. It's pretty much only for productivity if you want the extra width to be able to have 2+ windows open side by side.
  22. Thats dedication to style your whole room around your PC! Looks great though.
  23. Are those load temperatures? Those are fine, but I would suggest getting something like the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo to bring those down, and allow you to overclock some.
  24. Definitely not much. When trying to figure out your PSU wattage, think about your GPU and CPU, then add some headroom for overclocking, and some for for your extra components.
  25. How would that work? If you got an adapter, and put your meter on it, wouldn't you not be able to plug the air conditioner into the kill-a-watt meter?
