Spectrum raised my bill up to 194.02...

I love the healthy competition that we have in Florida! It’s FUCKING great! Thank you, capitalism!

My spectrum bill is currently around $152. Increases every year by $10.

I'm dropping my cable in a couple weeks and just using spectrum internet. I finally have decided that something like Sling TV is enough for me.

I’ve got an appointment with Frontier Tuesday. Locked in for $100 a month for two years with free HBO and all the channels that I watch. I really wish prices and “inflation” would keep up with the fact that bandwidth isn’t close to saturating ISP networks.

I have no other options for "high speed" internet besides spectrum. The only other thing I got is cellular hotspots.

That sucks! Congress or whoever has the authority should make it illegal to deny a new ISP permission to place lines. The “small guys” in my area just so happen to have conveniently similar packages for conveniently similar prices... SO COUGH Spectrum MUCH SUBTLE

I wonder if it's one of those cases of things needing to get a lot worse before they can get any better. Meaning that things will eventually get so bad that either revolution is imminent or somebody will need to step up and save capitalism from itself again.

Is Verizon or Comcast any better?

Man home internet in America is expensive. While I'm fine with 20 down/20 up ftth for only $40, I can get 100 down/50 up ftth/fttc for only $60 per month and to have cable TV, I'll just add $10 and for the most part I get more than 80% service reliability without throttling and data caps.
