  1. Probably. If they were 1000+ nits it'd be all over that marketing material.
  2. Woah woah, you mean to tell me the comment section is negative and vitriolic? Surely not.... When the sales numbers come out and are far lower than expected due to the inclusion of female characters, I will concede.
  3. This is just outrage machine BS. The percentage of people who are "outraged" is likely incredibly small to the point of being inconsequential. This is being blown way out of proportion in order to push a narrative that men hate women being in video games. It's not the case and the vast majority of people do not care that women are featured in the game. Nobody is not going to buy this game because it features women. The fact that people can be convinced that there is some huge outrage about this game by pulling a select twitter replies from a bunch of nobodies on the internet is pretty sad. But hey, how else ya gonna virtue signal?
  4. I just got rid of my S4 a few months ago. Upgrades to a OnePlus 3T. While I enjoy the larger screen and snappier performance, it wasn't some groundbreaking change. Honestly the biggest change was the fingerprint reader. I just don't find the phone market that compelling. Maybe if I took more pictures I would appreciate things like dual cameras more?
  5. It's a cool idea but the lenses seem quite cloudy. They seem like they would be more distracting than helpful. It's just a prototype though so maybe they'll really improve the product as they continue to develop.
  6. Also the setup with the phone connected via cable is not appealing. It seems like a small change but it really affects the user experience to have to have this thing dangling off a laptop. Having it dock like the Razer version does is far more compelling.
  7. I would buy the hell out of this for the right price. I love the idea of being able to chill on the couch and do chromebook type stuff with all the same apps I already have on my phone without needing to worry about syncing. Plus if it was charging my phone at the same time that would be awesome. Would be great for watching movies, youtube, etc. It's just a more comfortable, intuitive way to use the device that I carry and use every day when I don't actually need it to fit in my pocket. The price would be a huge factor though. I would want a really nice screen for watching media but at the end of the day it's just a screen and a battery. I wouldn't want to pay the cost of a laptop for it.
  8. 3D printing isn't more popular because it takes a lot of know-how. Getting great prints with high reliability takes a LOT of work. Even if you buy a very high end printer it's not set it and forget it. Just learning the software and how the machine operates is fairly daunting, and downright frustrating for a non technically minded individual. Not to mention the actual design process for parts is a whole separate skill that is a huge time investment to learn and can never really be automated even if you had the perfect, one button printer. Resolution doesn't even crack the top 5 of what is stopping 3d printers from becoming popular.
  9. Sooo what about the fact that the h115i's fan speed is 2000rpm and the U14S is only 1500? The h100i is even higher at over 2400rpm. Noctua should just start including industrial fans on all their coolers to hit the top of all these cpu cooler benchmarks. Am I missing something or is this never taken into account for a reason?
  10. I do as well. Can you explain why curved makes a difference for 3D content creation? Not that I would want a 21:9 for content creation anyway. I have a 21:9 monitor and it's honestly not very good for content creation.
  11. Same here. I filed a claim through a website I can't remember the name of now, but I've yet to receive anything confirming a check is coming my way. I also got an email from newegg about them sending me more info on how to file a claim. They never followed up though.
  12. So they designed an actually pretty OK SFF layout. Not THAT small but decent when compared to the Manta or Evolv and good hardware compatibility. And then they make the exterior this giant bloated shell? They could have actually hit a really good market of people wanting to switch to smaller cases without buying a lot of SFF specific hardware but they had to make the outer shell massive for some reason? Is that what people want? A small mini itx frame stuffed inside an mATX case?
  13. Unfortunately anything with "elegant curves" isn't going to be space efficient enough to be very small unless there are some proprietary components of some sort.
  14. I really wish it was a lower fpi rad. I would love to have this as a first watercooling setup but I would want something I can run at low fan speeds.
  15. Good idea in theory. We'll see if Valve has enough customer service reps to actually make the service usable.
