  1. Hi everyone! I’ve been having an issue where if my laptop is connected to its charger, it hibernates randomly while I use it. I took out the battery since I purchased it recently and used the laptop on the charger and the issue did not come up. The issue does not happen when I am on battery though. Thanks!
  2. There are a 2 things I wanted to point out that were COMPLETELY WRONG the link posted above (I was doing the test). 1. It was not a DDoS attack, the hardware that they were using was absolutely ancient, and needed to be upgraded, they did not do such and having 100,000+ students log on at once, would be a lot of traffic for their servers, causing technical difficulties. 2. This is a point that I am really frustrated about: In the article they state that this was a voluntary test. Guess what WRONG. They were forcing students all across Ontario to participate in the test, treating us like lab rats. They informed everyone a week before causing a huge fiasco around my school, and I would assume, many others. Now for something you do not know about this "voluntary test" They had told us that if we pass the test you would not have to do it in March of 2017. They lied to us all and everyone across Ontario has to do it again. I actually finished the test when this was announced. This is a major point that pisses me off as I was trying to get it over with it so I do not have to do it again and this is what ended up occuring.
  3. That's exactly what GradeAUnderA states in this video, and to add to the topic think if you use a long distance phone number it would be harder for hackers to crack.
  4. Banned for calling @Dargenfire computer a potato.
  5. Banned for not knowing the name of the 2 car companies.
  6. I think that it is worth the upgrade, I've upgraded it on about 20 PC's now and its been smooth, everything is fine on my PC.
  7. Yeah Canada Computers said that the Motherboard had a problem, but this is my Uncles computer and he said he is able to get it on once every 100 tries
  8. I also know that the computer didn't have any viruses
  9. Hello everyone, I had a bit of a problem with my PC. It is a prebuilt Dell JSD2 . The problem is all the lights and fans go on, but for some reason it won't POST. I didn't do any sort of hardware changes, and it has started since I upgraded to Windows 10. I have made sure that nothing went loose, and the RAM isn't infected. Thanks EDIT: The PC is dead
  10. I have a linux machine, it also has a problem, I changed the sources.list file, and it doesn't have an sd card reader
  11. The reader has a physical lock, but I know that it is unlocked.
