anandtech did in depth testing and they are not the fastest while being plenty expensive

myself included. they just look and feel lesser to comparably priced drives. you can get an 840/850 evo 120 for under 100$ right now and it will easily keep up with or exceed the performance of comparable drives

Mechanical keyboards last way longer than regular membranes plus they give you a far more satisfying typing or gaming experience over a normal keyboard
Most people prefer Cherry MX reds for gaming because they keys are smooth linear which makes it easier to do rapid tapping
in my case I bought MX Blues which make a satisfying click which makes typing waay better
people also tend to increase typing accuracy and speedwhen using mechanical keyboards
I would say its one of those things that makes life better and you wouldn't switch back ever once you try it but you find it hard to comprehend in the first place 
sort of like buying an ssd to replace a hdd or getting an IPS display to replace a TN, you can still get by without it but having it is so much better

Let the software(Win7 USB Boot or Rufus) format it for you, it'll set it automatically.

I struck a balance. After thinking long and hard about this I have come away with an i7-4790k. Met you perfectly half-way between the i5-4690k and i7-5820k.

If you have a need now, buy now, otherwise wait until you have a need. I never upgrade hardware until my current hardware isn't performing a task up to snuff, and then I upgrade based on that need. However that advice is usually reserved for people concerned for price to performance as their big priority and are budget limited. Anyway, those parts look a bit like overkill to me unless you have something like a 4k or 144hz display, and even then that MoBo is absolutely ridiculous from a price to performance standpoint.
 
Also that X99 MoBo has to be paired with different CPU.

I have just finished a build in in 750D and have to admit, it is such a sound case. I have an H75 for cooling, exhausting out of the top; i5 4670k, OC'ed to 4.2ghz idling at 22 - 25 degrees and hitting 55 - 55 at load.
 
The two front fans do a very good job of moving air into the case, even with the front cover seeming so close. IIf you were to mount the rad in the front, you could add, as I have done, a fan to the bottom of the case blowing up to the cards to add fresh, cool air.
 
I cant comment on the 760T but the 750D is an amazing case, with so much room you could play with different set-ups almost indefinitely.
