You can use aurora 2 for longer term than previously but just make sure as before to not have something like a drain valve where particles can settle/hide and clog up over time. If you want just a regular solid red coolant the pastel lineup is for sure one of the best long term colored fluids.

Thanks a lot, all of those links especially the second were helpful. I used a dremel when doing my engraving so the finish was only decent-rough in some parts. I'll look into frost vinyl though cuz that seems like a good alternative. I took in what you said about the clogging and thought of another solution. Then I can natively run a 240mm rad up top, no need to mod. For 1080p gaming 2 780's won't be generating much heat. Its really only the first GPU and the CPU that generate the most heat so I'll be fine with 120mm² less.

Ok first for the modding stuff I would recommend to get something like a mount or fabricating your own using some templates:

For proper engraving though you will probably need to get someone or a place that has a laser cutter to etch a piece of acrylic for you or to have frost vinyl cutouts made. And here is a good adapter to house your HDD's:

As for your watercooling however check to make sure all your parts you are using is comptable with mayhem's aurora 2 fluid since it does have particles inside some watercooling components can get clogged with them so they are usually deemed incompatible, for a triple 240mm loop that would give you fairly good cooling for a CPU and dual GPU loop however try to go for say two 260mm if you can the longer the rad the better the cooling usually.

All jokes aside, though, I game at 1050p; my beloved Tahiti XT card tears through any game I throw at it at that resolution. I could not ask for a more awesome card than I already have, even though I would love to. I just don't need it. The Sandy Bridge-Tahiti combo I have is serving me very well indeed. If you give me the card, I will simply pick someone here to give it to, so don't give it to me.

I made a thread about cancer (http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/335284-cancer-test-results-from-may-19th/) a while back with a scare I had. This community helped me a lot to get through it. As a result I would like to say thank you. I plan on giving away 2 gpu's. Nvidia and AMD to be precise. Might have to hold off on the AMD to see if I should go for a 390x or for a 290x. The point of this thread is to see which brand I should giveaway. I will make a poll for Nvidia and update the thread in week. If you want to enter the giveaway you must have at least 50 posts on this forum. I will review posts to make sure they were done before the giveaway date. I plan on doing a poll for Nvidia for a week and then a week poll for the AMD gpu. I plan on going with the stock clock speeds for both for people who want to overclock or match if they already have the same gpu for SLI/Crossfire. Card would be a reference design or aftermarket depending on the poll. Here we go. Please comment and let me know if you a different choice from what I mentioned. The giveaway could be pushed back if we decide to go with a 390x. I will start with the Geforce GTX 970 brand poll first. I will also include a poll for AMD 290x or 390x.
