This is my first gaming mouse so I can't really compare it to another, but this makes a great first impression to a noob like myself. As to why I went with Zowie is because a friend talked it up and I do not like Razer, I find it to be too commonly used, but that;s just my opinion. 
 
Comfort - It's incredibly comfortable to hold with a palm style grip or craw grip, it remains comfortable throughout long sessions but the rubber surface (of the black model) can make your hand a little bit sweaty after a while this is in no way bad as it would take a second to wipe your hand dry.
 
Performance - This being my first gaming mouse I'm not familiar with the high acceleration just yet but you're able to change the dpi with a convenient button underneath the mouse, to 1 of 3 settings. Each setting illuminates the mouse wheel according to the dpi: 450 dpi - red, 1150 dpi - purple and 2300 dpi - blue. The only games I have used it with so far are Team Fortress 2 and Portal 2 and I feel as though it may have a slight prediction it's so small it's hardly noticeable, to me at least but it is there. It has button 4 on 5 on the left side which is handy for web browsing and quicker access to reload for example in games. The mouse wheel is stiff to move and makes a click sound when turned, it's not great for web browsing because it's rather slow but great for changing weapon or other action in game, it could not be accidentally moved.
 
Appearance - The EC1 Evo looks great, it's a large mouse with a rubber surface on top and a shiny surface on the side and the led underneath the mouse wheel is an added bonus.
 
Addon: I know the high acceleration is due to the higher set dpi, this can be fixed by lowering it. If you own/owned this mouse feel free to leave me some tips, thanks! The mousepad I'm using in the photo is the Zowie G-CM black.   Cons: Makes your hand sweat after prolonged use and the mouse wheel is terrible for internet browsing.    

For my personal use a func ms3 would suit better just because I have big hands. If I would have smaller hands I would go for the naos all the way.

I think that the mamba or the g700s will give you the flexibility you are looking for.

Thanks, but in that case the BW is cheaper and still looks better than the qpad in my opinion.

After my first post about making some custom mouse pad designs for the forum, coincidentally I saw posts of people wanting all kinds of swag with the LTT branding. Being I love creating in Photoshop I decided that I would love to take on an idea like this! Currently I have 3 mouse pad designs but I will start working on shirts and lanyards very soon! My advice would be to buy one of those wasd sample kits for about 12$ it comes with every switch but for greens. It also comes with keycaps and o-rings.

We should vote for Linus to pick one of these up and unbox and test it for the audience. If he gives a good review and approves the build quality, I would totally pick one up!

Mod some spikes for the top of your case
