  1. @TVwazhere and @Corsair Nick Thank you both for your responses.
  2. Greetings all, I believe my hard drives are close to the end of their life and I need to replace them. I've been pondering the thought of running 4 Hard drives in raid 10 in my Corsair Obsidian 500D case, however the case only supports 2 3.5" hard drives natively (on the back side). I did some googling and found on Corsair's site that they sell additional hard drive cages for many of their cases, but it doesn't mention that the 500D is compatible, despite saying that this particular cage supports the (Obsidian 450D, 650D, 750D). Do you think it would be compatible with the 500D? Here's the link to the hard drive cage in question: HDD upgrade kit with 3x hard drive trays and secondary hard drive cage parts (Graphite 600T, 730T, 760T, 780T) (Obsidian 450D, 650D, 750D) Thanks in advance!
  3. I recommend Stardock's Start10 start menu mod. It's great.

    Surround sound

This^^ If you do truly want a set of decent 5.1 speakers, I saw on amazon.co.uk selling the Z906 logitech speakers for £170. link for it here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Stereo-Speakers-Dolby-Surround/dp/B004MY4PU6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1499555574&sr=8-3&keywords=5.1+speakers I got these speakers and they're pretty good.
  5. Best thing to do, would be to back up all the essential data you want to keep. Then perform a clean install of Win 8.1, then copy the backed up data to 8.1.
  6. Do you have any other HDDs? When I re install windows, I have to unplug all my hard drives because I get this message. Weird, I know, I dunno... If I unplug them all, it lets me continue.
  7. Have you tried using another system? If that doesn't work, it could be that the device has corrupted, maybe... Quite possibly you could use recovery software to get your data back.
  8. They're very good temps. My CPU (essentially the previous generation chip) is between 85-90 OC'd with H100i cooler, under load.
  9. I never liked the franchise, but that said,I think Total Biscuit covered a good stance on both the single player and multiplayer aspect. Maybe these will be of help
  10. You mean PSU? Yeah, it'll be more than enough
  11. If your system is full of spyware, there is a possibility it's affected the windows files. If you were to format the D: partition, it might not completely fix your problem. You could either do a full factory reset, or completely wipe the OS and start fresh.
  12. You've got good airflow, and the side fans will provide plenty of cool air for the cards. I'm pretty certain in MSI Afterburner, you can set power limits and set a temperature target, in which the cards won't exceed. I personally use EVGA precision to manage my OC. I got my power management set to 110% and temp target set to 90 degrees. That said, my cards never exceed 75 degrees (top card 75 and bottom card 68) under 100% load.
  13. If you've got good airflow there's nothing to worry. Generally it's about 10-15 degrees © higher than the top card (air cooled). I seriously doubt it will peak 80+....
  14. What about halfords? I picked up some distilled water from their shops.
