Good afternoon, So let me give you the situation. I have a customer who is def and currently has a burg system in his home. All I'm trying to do is use the Notification circuit of the panel (maybe even a set of dry contacts) to trip a device that is monitoring for an open or close circuit. Then that item transmits to a receiver that has a Bright Light and Sounder. This doesn't have to be ul listed for burg but it would be nice. The customer DOES NOT want us to run wire. This has to work with an existing system that will be a lower cost option (plug and play with min setup). I have been coming across a lot of older options that are no longer available. ANY Suggestions/Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

What I was thinking of doing with this unit is use it for my PC VR set up. mostly the stuff i added was something real quick to pick parts **HYPOTHETICAL BUILD** It comes down to having another pc that will have the ability to run multi-media in my living room while also providing a connection for my headset to run tethered. -

Thank you i was thinking the T-sku was going to have issues but i couldn't find anything in the ARC pages that would say that. The performance on paper seems the same but allows me to utilize PCI gen 5 and better USB 3.2 2x2. both build ideas are up top. -

So my company deals with a lot of different systems. Our systems administrator brought me over a Optiplex7000 that has an i7-12700T (should be good) and at home I have a i9-10850K. If the CPU is still good. Should I buy a new motherboard new ram and build a second system and make the i7-12700T my new main pc and make the i9-10850K my living room pc. the area of the sanctuary is about 3200 square foot i don't know why i posted 20k

i'm sorry if the information was confusing. as for the internet speed i don't have a solid answer. the service provider is comcast internet. what they are looking for is a wireless access point for multiple users. the congregations doesn't need massive amounts of bandwidth each person. the access point is going to be mainly used by the elders and management of the church. they want the ability to use internet outside of three feed of their office. their cable model (wireless access point) is in their office which is the worst place for a wireless modem. plan to run cat-5 from the comcast modem to a wireless access point/wireless router in to the sanctuary. unfortunately the best/easiest location for this wireless access point is far left middle of the sanctuary. id like to make it so that anyone who wants access or needs access at any point of the sanctuary can.

Good morning, I came across a local church who is having issues with their internet. The church is in a low income area and is trying to build its congregation back up. One of the elders had my company out to do some work on an unrelated issue. She was talking about how many issues she was having with their internet provider and that they had little to no options for internet. she wouldn't be with the company she's currently with if she had a choice. It came around that their congregation has been having issues connecting to the internet during services. Due to covid a lot of their services have been remote which you could see where this would be an issue. I told her I would look into it at the tools and some of the supplies. I would like to be able to find a remote access point that would be compatible with their need. I plan is to run hard wire networking from their modem into their sanctuary however I'd like to find a reasonably priced, powerful, modem, with the ability to supply internet to a minimum of 20 people. This field of expertise is not of my own so I'm reaching out to the Linus tech tips forum for some suggestions. The modem in a perfect world would be able to covering area of 20,000 square feet maybe more. Obviously price is an issue I may be able to help out financially. I have been thinking about an ASUS router that I've been reading about or something like Google nest. I don't know if the ASUS router is overkill and the Google nest underpowered. suggestions and input would be greatly appreciated.
